Remarks :

GNIT has a mesmerizing environment. To me it's is my second family. I will highly recommend every student to take admission in GNIT after schooling if they take technology seriously.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum consists of a total 8 semesters. The curriculum is very much industry-relevant. Project-based learning is also there. The course curriculum is up to date. Industrial visits are arranged. I am now in 2nd year, Food tech and the department already provide us with 3 industrial visits in different well known companies. Webinars are also organized by each department.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 98000 per year

Placement Experience :

Training and placement cell is very much active in our college. Almost all the students are allowed to attend an interview. From my department, almost 98% of students in last year got placed in various well known companies such as ITC, Coca-cola, Jubilant and many more. Some students also got government jobs. Internships are provided to make the student's industry-ready.

College Events :

Fests like EUPHONIOUS, ZYZZVA( cultural fest), TESSERACT (technical fest)and many more are arranged in our college. GNIT is the nodal centre of smart India hackathon from last few years. Apart from that many competitions like MHRD, ACM-ICPC, CII are held. Online media fest FELICIFIC V1.0 was recently organized during the lockdown period. Through this digital fest ,funds have been raised to donate it in PM Cares fund and State Relief fund.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is feasible. College provides the necessary fees structure at the time of admission. Payment mode is totally online and easy. Fee breakdown is very much transparent. No additional fees are charged in order to secure admission in any course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Central and government scholarships are provided to students. For girl child Kanyashree scholarship is available. Many students in our college are availing education loans.The process is not quite complicated and account's cell staffs always help.

Campus Life :

Campus life is excellent. All faculties possess well equipped labs. A lot of competition is held. Sports day is held once in a year. Apart from that seminars, workshops, debates,hand on sessions, coding competitions are held all around the year. Our campus is ragging free.

Alumni/Alumna :

Each department organizes student alumni meet twice in a year. Where they share their thoughts and experiences with us. Seniors are very much helpful and interactive. The relation between juniors and seniors are admirable.

Admission :

I got admitted in GNIT through WBJEE counseling. Along with that the college is not far from my home. The location of our college is also very good as it is located near to the railway station as well as from main road. I have chosen Food tech as it is one of the growing industry and it possesses many future scopes. Moreover,food is our basic necessity and food technology couse is highly desirable.

Faculty :

Faculty is very much qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers are very much helpful and friendly. They are highly qualified in their respective subjects. Lectures are very much useful. Doubts can be cleared at any time. Teachers always encourage us to doing projects beyond curriculum syllabus.

B.Tech is a great course for technological world and interest.This college mainly focus on the practical knowledge rather than only focusing on bookish things.There is so many opportunities for students who are interested in research.
