Remarks :

GNIT is highly recommended for every student. Wonderful campus, infrastructure and all-time support from faculty members makes everything so student-friendly!

Course Curriculum Overview :

The exam and course structure is helpful for us as all study materials are beneficial for us and equipment from laboratory are just like industry so here we get an advantage to experience! Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation GNIT has introduced us with the digital classroom where we can learn easily everything within a short time.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placement rate is quite good. From my department, most of them either placed went for further studies or rest willingly went for entrepreneurship. ITC, Biskfarm, Coca-Cola, Jubilant and more came companies came this year. Being a 3rd yr student I got an opportunity to do an internship in Mio Amore (Switz Foods Private Limited), Biskfarm, winkies.

College Events :

During this COVID-19 pandemic situation students from GNIT, MEDIA TEAM organized online media fest to raise funds for India’s battle against Covid-19. Also technical & cultural fest, GNIT hosts ICPC this year & SIH from last 3 years, also GNIT organise many events, annual sports, national science day and many more!

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It is feasible. For my course, the total course required 4 lakh. The mode of payments are online net banking, draft, bank transfer, anyone can pay using mobile phone applications. It is worth of money. The environment of the campus is so good and ragging free.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am not availing any of them but some of my friends are getting them. Every time college let us know about any scholarship opportunity or any scheme beneficial for our education or course.

Campus Life :

The campus is superb. Laboratories are equipped with efficient machinery and library is stocked with books, journals and many more facilities! Here Gender Ratio is more or less equal. There are no such issues with anything else as it is protected with security guards everywhere & CCTV cameras work every time.

Alumni/Alumna :

GNIT organise Alumni meet & always try to involve alumni in seminars arranged for college students so that they can understand how the industry works. Our Alumni portal is so active.

Admission :

I was determined for food technology course & after WBJEE's result, I got the chance in this college with food technology. I went for a search and found it is one of the best colleges for B.Tech in food technology. And after admitting in GNIT now I can understand that really it's the best place for studying food technology.

Faculty :

Teachers are so supportive and motivate every time. Classes are done according to the schedule and they are a bit strict in attendance. Every faculty members are regular for their lectures and allow us every time to share our thoughts and ideas with them for project work, journal publication or for patents.

There are campus placements in the college specially more for Streams like computer science and Information technology and electronics and communication...but there are also som on campus placement available for Streama like biomedical or electrical . But if it's doesn't work out you may always go for off campus it always works.

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Generally 2 mass recruiters(Cognizant, Infosys) come and recruit 180-200 students. Other companies like EY and Kriti technologies took some(3-4 from other depts) Highest package 9 lpa, average 4.5 lpa In normal years 75-78% students generally got placement till date. I got placed after getting degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Instrumentation engineering keeping in mind the current state of semiconductor industry in India.I would say that the curriculum is a little backdated compared to what professionals are looking for today.To improve it,they need to include relevant elective subjects as subject choices before every semester.The frequency of exams is determined by the professor.Generally, there are two class tests and one midsemester and endsemester exams in each semester.

Honest review of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is new in our college that's why I'm very curious to know about this department . It's helps to know about both the electronic terms and also for computer science this is very helpful for me to know about both topics.it prepare very well for real world application because it's teaches both about hardware and software. I suggest to do 70/30 ratio of the syllabus teach 70 percent software and 30 percent hardware.
