Remarks :

It is the best college where we can learn very much and can polish and can develop our talent.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Smart and digital classrooms are used along with the daily classroom schedule. Excellent laboratory facilities. Seminars, Workshops and exhibitions come in a daily routine. Educational tours to the water treatment plant and other places are carried out. Teachers are too experienced for each subject.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience :

GNIT provides good placement to the deserved ones every year. Most of the students are allowed to attend an interview. College provides a chance to get placed in various companies.

College Events :

Our college has plenty of events. Some of the major events are Cultural fests, Tech Fest and farewell. GNIT also holds freshers program, annual sports. We get ample opportunity to polish our talent in all fields, be it sports, music, dance, literary, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our semester fees are approx Rs. 46000 per head including all development charges and library facilities. And as compared to other private colleges this amount is commendable in academic and various aspects and I think it is feasible. For submitting our fees all modes (online and offline) are available.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I never opted for any scholarship or education loan so I cannot describe you all how to avail it.

Campus Life :

Campus life is outstanding. Students most of the time are engaged in their projects and activities. There is no student politics in this college. The gender ratio is approximately 1:1 in our batch. Here all students are treated equally irrespective of gender and status.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our college organises alumni meet every year. We have interactions not only with seniors of our department but also with the other.

Admission :

I came to know about this college from one of my friends, and also I was selected for GNIT through online counselling. It is a nice institute for Tech lovers, with lot of infrastructures and facilities. Faculties are too frank and helpful. At first, I gave the WBJEE exam, then I was selected in the counselling and finally, I took admission in this college.

Faculty :

Faculties are very experienced and skilled in their domain. They are too much helpful. Teachers provide homework and doubt clearing sessions. Assignments are provided to have a pace with the ongoing subjects. Both theoretical and practical subjects are easy to learn with them.

There are campus placements in the college specially more for Streams like computer science and Information technology and electronics and communication...but there are also som on campus placement available for Streama like biomedical or electrical . But if it's doesn't work out you may always go for off campus it always works.

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Generally 2 mass recruiters(Cognizant, Infosys) come and recruit 180-200 students. Other companies like EY and Kriti technologies took some(3-4 from other depts) Highest package 9 lpa, average 4.5 lpa In normal years 75-78% students generally got placement till date. I got placed after getting degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Instrumentation engineering keeping in mind the current state of semiconductor industry in India.I would say that the curriculum is a little backdated compared to what professionals are looking for today.To improve it,they need to include relevant elective subjects as subject choices before every semester.The frequency of exams is determined by the professor.Generally, there are two class tests and one midsemester and endsemester exams in each semester.

Honest review of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is new in our college that's why I'm very curious to know about this department . It's helps to know about both the electronic terms and also for computer science this is very helpful for me to know about both topics.it prepare very well for real world application because it's teaches both about hardware and software. I suggest to do 70/30 ratio of the syllabus teach 70 percent software and 30 percent hardware.
