Remarks :

I got the college by wbjee counseling. One can take admission direct also and the fees for admission is the same for both Types (around 86300). The college campus is very nice. Teachers are very very helpful. But the management is a little bit bad I think so. There are 3 big playgrounds which are attractive.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically, I am very attracted to electronic devices. I wanted to learn about it and won't make new devices. There are 60 students in our class. And our teachers are well qualified and very very helpful. They always motivated us. But it is very hard to study E.C.E. Our exams are too hard.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 44500 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Our college is connected with Internshala. This site gives us many types of internships. This is very good for us. Likely 10 to 12 thousand. Because of being 2nd year and coving situation, I am not interested.

Placement Experience :

From 3rd year students are eligible for placements. TATA consultancy services, Infosys, etc. I don't have any idea about placement percentage. I want to do Core jobs or any it sectors. College placement is very good.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for admission is around 86300 rupees. 1st-semester fees included admission fees. I am a scholarship holder because I got 75% up marks in 12th. But it is not from college. Around 45000 rupees you have to pay In every semester.

Campus Life :

Because of covid situation, college is closed. So we get online moue classes and online fest also. All Books are given from the library to each student. Here a lot of NSS activities are done. There are lots of clubs in our college like a cyber club, nature club, space club, gnit media Etc.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Good Placements

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from the later part of the third year to sit for the placements as the companies arrive then. Mainly placements are dependent on service-based companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro e.t.c. who mass recruits a whole lot of students with standard 3.5 to 4 LPA packages. Product-based companies like Oracle, Amazon, and trilogy too visited the campus. Oracle recruited a few of the candidates, Amazon too but nobody could clear the trilogy's OA rounds. Oracle offered a package of 15lpa and Amazon around 22 LPA. But a lot of students applied off campus and the highest placement off campus was 72 LPA in Google. The placement percentage is nearly 100% which is mainly due to the fact of service-based companies. I too am interested in IT jobs so am preparing for the same.

Seeing stcet again through my eyes

Placement Experience:

Students from the 4th-year 7th semester onwards become eligible for all sorts of campus recruitments. Cognizant technology solutions are the principal recruiter. Other companies which used to come during this time include Infosys, Odesha technologies, itc infotech, and others. All these companies generally take many students from our campus. During our time around 88% of students got selected from our batch. Out of which many students got double job offers from cognizant and Infosys. Some got job offers in sonodyne, Vodafone, and other companies. The highest package was offered by cognizant which was about 6 lakhs per annum. An average package of 3.5 lakhs per annum was offered by Infosys followed by itc infotech which offered roughly 4 lakhs per annum. After getting the degree I will pursue Ms maybe or maybe I can opt for MBA too. Also, I can sit for ies exam. Let's see what happens.
