Remarks :
Overall, in short, I am happy with my college. I never regret the decision to join this college. This college has given me an outstanding campus life to cherish throughout my life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is a semester system. In every semester there are new subjects to deal with and for that, the helping hand of the departmental teachers are really appreciable. Mentors constantly monitoring the activities of individual students in the class. They always come up with new and updated techniques for us. There is a placement cell which prepares students for industry purpose. Lot of care has been taken of the students before sending them for the campusing.
Placement Experience :
Last year 85% students got placed in top recruiting companies like TCS, WIPRO, ITC INFOTECH, CTS HAXWARE, CAPGEMINI. Top roles offered by the college are administrative, industrial and academic jobs. Internships are also provided to students in well-reputed companies. College is very supportive.
College Events :
The college organizes the number of events to channelize the energy of the students. Cultural fests like zyzzva, sampan, twilight are mention worthy. Technical fests like tesseract is amazing. Apart from these fests, many international coding events and hackathons are organized. Our college is the nodal centre for the SMART INDIA HACKATHON. Students get a lot of exposure to different events to update themselves.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The above mention fees are divided into eight semesters. Semester fees need to pay before every examination. Apart from that also the semester fees need to pay before the semester exam. At first, we used to pay the fees via DD, but now its via online transaction. The college provides easy transparency in the breakdown of the fees.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, college does provide scholarships. There are many exam processes and eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by the students
Campus Life :
Regarding campus life, all the staffs, seniors and juniors are very friendly and supportive. They help each other. Also, there is an anti-ragging cell that ensures no ragging in the campus. Competitions like debate, GD, posters etc. And also annual sports in which boys and girls equally take part.
Alumni/Alumna :
The college organizes Alumni meet where all the ex-students are present. surprisingly they never fail to join the meet.
Admission :
I have appeared for the entrance exam called cee-ampai organized by jis group. Based on the rank, i was admitted into Guru Nanak institute of technology. The exam standard was high. It requires a lot of good preparation. After the selection, i was called for a final interview where all my board marks were checked. after clearing all the steps, finally, I got into this college
Faculty :
There is a class routine. Per subjects, there are five to six lectures classes in the entire week. Labs are also well organized. In case students having doubts, they get the chance to meet the teacher immediately. Also, monthly many industrial based seminars and workshops are organized for the benefit of the students.
