College bad remarks is that achedmics load is very high and grading policy is very bad comparitively other institutions.
Course Curriculum Overview :
course curriculam is research based but not fully researced based. But also taken care of industrial basis. Course material is 100% nice and well arrenged but it is very high quantity. Yes this also help a lot in placements. Recently our machanical department organised to our nearby industries. But this type of ture not organised in fixed period of time. There are 2-3 laboratory experinment every week. Quizes for some courses organised every week. which makes students to study regularly.
Placement Experience :
98%Students placed every year. Google,Samsung,goldman sachs, bajaj, flipkart and many other Yes institute take steps to prepare for placements but not much steps. In placement preparation students themselve have to take step.
College Events :
1 Techanical festival. Techouriti Nearly 200 + college participate in & its budget nearly 1 crore. 2. Cultural- antragni This festival is also known as one of asia's biggest festival. This continues for 3 days. No. Of events in are so high that a single person can't attend all. Students do not sleep for these thouree days. There are many other festivals like udghosh for sports and celebrations of occasional festivals. All mangement of these events are done by students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It is very costly institue in india. But indian goverment gives veri high scholarships. For general students whose family income more than 6 lacs per annum have to pay 1lacs for tution fees per sem. 3k -4k mess + hostel rent per month. Other personal and stationary things cost around 5k per sem. For other category student Tution fees 1/3 of 1lacs. If family income < 1lcs p annum Tution fess free If CGPA> 6.5 TUTION fess return. Before admission there are some advance Payment which later counted in fees. So fees structure is very feasible. There is 100% transparency in fees
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes i opted for education loan. There are 2 banks sbi and ubi. When i went there bank officer themselves came to us and asked for loan. They will do all proceduers of loan. For scholarship Merit cum scholarship (known as mcm) for those who has family income < 600000 per annum. Donor scholarship given by alumanis on merit basis. Inspire scholarship for Bsc courses. Full tution rebate for family income < 100000rs.
Campus Life :
Campus is very large 1100 acres and open for all. Outer residential can enter by making entry at main gate giving some reason. Students are allowed to keep bicycle to travel in campus. There are 13 hostel with very large areas With sports ground inside them. Every hostel has capacity of 500+ students Gender ratio is very low. In my departement it 2/50 girls/boys. It is nearly same in every department. Indian government recently reserved 20% seats for girls since 2019 A lot of workshops are organised by student gymkhana (student body). Science and technology council always remains active thourouhout the year. They organise workshop for learning and creating prototypes of many things. Sports club organises sports compitions In summers.they even organise comption for indoor games. Every saturday sunday there are many workhops, debates on current issues are organised and students takes part very enthusiasticly. There is very less politics inside campus. At the time of selection of student body not a single case come regarding fighting. No one forces nobody to his vote for specific students. Elections are highly transparent. There is women cell for taking care of sexual cases.but not a single case come for this. Girls boys intractions are very high. There is unmukt society for Making people aware for 3rd gender and increase Respect for them.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, Hostels rooms are in very good conditions. New hostels are very nice compare to hostels which constructed at time of institute establishment. Full campus has free unlimited high speed wifi access. Each bed has LAN CABEL port for internet. 24x7 water and electricity facility. Every hostel has its own mess and e-shops. Sports ground are also in every hostel and for instiute level also. Beautiful gardens are there because hostel area is very large. Lift facility are there in new hostel which goes to 6 floor. 1 table,1 chair is offered to students for study. 1 almirah for each student. For washing clothes there is seperate washing room with washing machines or we can give to dhobi. There is HEC (HALL EXECUTIVE committee) formed by students voting approved by institute official to manage hall. Cleaning facility is very nice. Average rental for a bed and electricity is included in mess bill which emailed to each student by HEC.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumani netwok is known as very good and strong for my institute than other institutions in india. There are some entertaining culture among students which attach juniors and senior and this attachment so strong that it never break even outside campus. Institute also organise some talks with older batches. Seniors are very helpful this will be understood only when we enter in campus. Every 6 new students assigned a senior student guide for complete graduation.
Admission :
There are only two chances to appear in entrance exam. I prepared for 2 years along with 11 & 12 standred. For some reason My performance was not good in exam. So i took one more year and i I got selected in 2nd chance with AIR 583 OBC. Factors that made me to choose this institute. 1. It in comes in top 5 institution in india. 2. This institute famous for its machanical brach. 3. Hostel facilities are very good. 4. Achedmics are focused on research basis. 5. It is also nearer to my home than other top institutions 6. Placements are also good. 7. Campus is outside the main city which makes it noice pollution free and other disturbance. 8 institute campus is fully green. After entrance examination result. Main steps are. Give priorites to college and brach which we want according to our choice. This process happens in 7 rounds. After banch allotment we have to verify our documents in any college according to our feasbility. Stay connected to our alloted college website for further notice to get in college.
Faculty :
There is faculty building Where every faculty has office. We can call them or email to make a appointment or we can directly meet in their office in emergency. Faculty are very highly qualified. Some faculty teaches very nice. There are very old faculty as well young faculties. They are very specific in their field. Every faculty has a homepage on institute website where students can find their intrested field regarding faculty and contact them. Faculties are very helpful if we contact them. Nearly 30 hours lectures + laborarty part. Lectures are research and industy based both but lab work are industry based.
