Remarks :

Horticulture course not approval by government, so we can't study in government college in PG program.Excess fees, fine fees, etc, give to students. I'm also paid fine fees for ID card missing.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes. This course also use for another PG program, research, etc. That course most valuable in research purpose. 4 year course- 8 semester. Final year conduct on project. Study tour, RHWE program, ELP project.

Placement Experience :

Placement, job available in college. Lot of company give opportunity for job. Particular student go to placement, some of students studying PG. Stay funds are available in Phd program.

College Events :

Culture events, Hostel fest, also celebrate in college. Separate department conduct in cultural events, seminar, etc.and give certificate to participate students. Game conduct in culture events, winning students to give awards.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

1 semester fees -55, 000 thousands, Hostel fees _50000 thousands, Exam fees 300 per paper, Arreor paper fees -300 per paper, Backlog fees 1000 per paper, Bys fees based on distance to travel, Uniform fees 5000

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship available in college, scholarship based on CGPA percentage, Loan are available in college, 8 CGPA and above 10, 000 scholarship, 8.5CGPA 25, 000 scholarship, 9- CGPA 50, 000 scholarship, 9.5 CGPA 100% scholarship

Campus Life :

Sports conduct in every year.winner to give award, certificate, etc. Overall all winner give champion ship tropy. Football, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, cricket, handball, carrom, chess, running 100, 200, 500, 10000 meter game,

Hostel Facilities :

Water facility are available in hostel. Fest are conduct in hostel. Wi Fi available in 8-10 PM. Fan, door locker, attache both room, A/ C available in hostel, Drinking water available. Various food are provided in hostel

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

Senior students most helpful for further study. Lot of ideas to give junior students, But I don't have senior students in college. We are 1 st batch students in Horticulture course. Teacher are give more ideas. Thank You

Admission :

I'm last admission in college. Lot of equipment, laboratory available in other course. But we don't have laboratory, equipment, etc. in my particular course. This course not government approval.

Faculty :

Teachers are well qualified. But students are low qualified. Faculty to make relationship to students as a friend.

Annamalai University- A Review.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am interested in biology since my school days so I am interested in studying it further in college. So I chose this course. And about my faculty, the total number of agricultural student in one year is around 500 and each batch has 30 students in it.

A Worthy Experience in my College

Placement Experience:

From the second semester of the final year, the students are getting eligible for Campus interviews. Last year 52 companies visited our campus.350 of 1000 students were placed with the average package ranging from 18000 to 27000. I had decided to study for Government exams.

Agriculture- College review

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester itself, students are eligible for campus interviews. So many private companies like sugarcane companies, fertilizer companies like that, and private banking institutions also selected students in campus interviews. The salary range was 150000 to 20000. After UG I went for 1 year for a job and I studied PG.

Good source of information

Admission:

I got admitted to my university through the state merit list by considering the 12th standard HSC examination in Tamilnadu. I got the overall rank of 230 against 1000 students intake. But I got admitted as the 75th candidate in counselling. I confirmed my admission as a 13th member. In counselling, I had two options is Agriculture another is horticulture. I choose Agriculture as my wish.
