Course Curriculum Overview :

As I am interested in biology since my school days so I am interested in studying it further in college. So I chose this course. And about my faculty, the total number of agricultural student in one year is around 500 and each batch has 30 students in it.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If you have a high cutoff with your 12th-grade mark then there will be a merit quota available to you in which the fee structure is around 60k and if you have a first-graduate certificate with a higher mark in 12th grade then the majority of scholarships are available which you can use.

Campus Life :

From my university's point of view, it is a very old campus founded around the 1920s so the infrastructure in the university is quite old. And our university has its own faculty for physical education. And cultural activities also happen often. As this is an open university the students feel free to roam around without any fear.

Admission :

Basically in my University, there are two categories of seats available one is merit seats and the other is self-supporting. For merit seats there is a certain mark cutoff is needed whereas for self-supporting no such cutoff is considered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Agriculture has good scope in India. Many competitive exams are there. We don't only just study at class, we work in field , learn about the farmers and we do everything practically. Technology is improved in agriculture. Many farmers are now adapting the new technologies. Exams are moderate to difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In agriculture what you study in the books is not fully applicable in the field. The practical knowledge that the college provides is not up to the mark. 2.5 hrs practical classes must be engaged better. Every semester there will be 10-13 courses, each consisting theory and practicals. A mid-semester exam(20 marks) is conducted halfway through the semester. The practical exams(40 marks) are first conducted and there will be no gap between the exams. After this with one or two days gap the theory exams(40 marks)are also conducted daily like the practicals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from an agricultural background so I have chosen this course. There will be 130-140 students per batch. Theory classes will be an hour and practical classes will be two and half hours. Teaching is good. Exams will be conducted at the end of the semester. The pass mark being 60 is moderately difficult to attain pass mark.
