Entrance Preview :

I took admision in this college through JEE MAIN rank. I scored 95 out of 360 marks in JEE main and got 1.10 lac AIR. I opted this college because i wanted a college in orissa and this was best college i was getting through OJEE counselling through JEE MAIN rank.

Internships Opportunities :

Company like Infosys,wipro,Tech-Mahindra etc vist campus every year for Internship. They interact with student and offer for intership. College has 85% placement record and average placement is 3 lac. And highest packaged ever offered is 9 lac.

Placement Experience :

The best private college under BPUT in terms of placements. Pre-placement training as well as training for GATE is also provided. Company like Infosys,wipro,Tech-Mahindra etc vist campus every year. College Events :

Every year in the begining of academic year college celeberate FRESHER PARTY for new student. Many dance and music program like RHYTHM NOVA are celeberated in the campus of the college. And other extra fee for ROBOTIC club and many programme will be taken.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

As concern fee structure it has decent fee structure. Fee for the college is around 1.40 lac per annum with hostel and excluding mess charge.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I donot think college provide any scholarship. Loan facility is provided by the college to the eligible student.

Campus Life :

The environment there,the ambiance,the lifestyle I don't think any other college can offer. The faculties are world-class the clubs involved combine everything from every skill available. The college have ROBOTIC club,music club. Any one can be member of these club. Workship and Lab is provided to the on scheduled day. College also organise cultural programme.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities is not quit impressive. After many complain they do not look after the problem. They provide hostel on three bed sharing in a Room. Rooms for aroung 500 students are provided. Mess food is average.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Many student from this college are working with the finest IT companies like infosys,wipro in the country. All the seniors students are helpful. They can help you in every way you want.

Exam Structure :

College conduct four internal exam and two semester exam in a year. Internal exam was chilled out But semester exam was alittle tough and heart breaking.

Faculty :

This college has best faculty as far I know. All the faculty are helpful and experienced. Many of them hold degree of M.Tech and Ph.d. They can help you in every way you want . Overall college has good member of Faculty in ECE department.

From the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements where they have to show their skills to the interviews in order to get placement. The name of the companies visited are Infosys, Oracle, Dalmia, Tata. The average package the companies give is around 3 to 4 lacs. My plan after getting the degree is to already settle by getting a placement.

Reality of GIFT college

Placement Experience:

Placements! Once upon a time in year 2016-17 Amazon, Oracle etc used to come... Now all are just less paying startups who select for 3,4,4.5 lpa on average Yeah some get 9-10lpa if they are really good, opportunities are always there for good students, but not more than this... If you're dreaming a 13,15,20,50lpa package, don't wake up, it's not possible in real life here (atleast till now)

This college provides a good environment for professional study. I got alloted to the college through my entrance mark so i chose it. It was my dream to study Electrical engineering but i didn't got the branch in any other college and i got the department over here so i thought it would be better to study here

Various companies visit our campus for recruitment. Among those companies the name of some big companies are TATA, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, JINDAL, LNT. For being able to sit in the interview for any campus a student must have scored a minimum of 7 cgpa and must have good communication skills. In my knowledge there is no big startup by our batch.
