Remarks :

Altogether IIIT ALLAHABAD is a very good college and offers a great coding culture. Senior junior interaction is very good and faculty is also good. Only shortcoming being a comparitively smaller campus due to only it and ece branch in college and a poor city life

Course Curriculum Overview :

course curriculum in iiit Allahabad is similar to other nit's and iit's. From 2018 batch cclca exam pattern has been adopted. Under cclca students are graded on regular basis and not on the old method of mid and end semester. Cclca is continuous assessment.

Placement Experience :

Being a tier 1.5 college placements and internship opportunity are great. Iiit allahabad due to its vicinity to delhi and also due to having airport further helps in having big companies in college. Internship opportunities are also good. There are a lot of companies visiting for internship.

College Events :

There are a lot of events organised for varied interests throughout the year ranging from sports to technical, from literature to dance or drama there are events organised for everything. Some of the big ones being: 1. Effervescence - cultural fest 2. Asmita - sports fest 3. Aproksha - technical fest 4. E summit

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Being a government college fee structure of iiit Allahabad is affordable. It costs around 60 thousand per semester for hostel and tution and other college expenses and around 15 thousand for mess per semester.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

IIIT ALLAHABAD offers good number of scholarships on marit basis. There are scholarships offered to bath topers and in some cases subject toppers too. There are quota for reserved classes and girls. Also there are options to avail the scholarships offered by one's own state

Campus Life :

IIIT ALLAHABAD supports and encourage extracurricular activities. There are clubs made for different activities like dance, drama, literature, technical, sports acaustic and media, music etc. Being a national college, IIIT ALLAHABAD has a diverse cultur and people from all over india.

Hostel Facilities :

IIIT ALLAHABAD is a fully residential campus. Hostel for girls are inside the campus and boys hostels are build outside the campus. Hostels are safe and well facilitated. There are proper arrangements of hot water in wknters, cleanliness and proper drinking water and clean washrooms.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

College was established in 1999 thus is quite new. Despite that college has a fairly good alumni network. Alumnis are very much interested to do there best un helping us. Seniors are also very Good. They are really helpful and kind.

Admission :

Addmission in iiit allahabad happens through jee mains ranks. Iiit Allahabad comes under tier 1.5 colleges in India and has been listed as college of national importance from ministry of human resource development.

Faculty :

Faculty in iiit Allahabad is good. They are well educated and most of them are good teachers. They are also very kind and helpful. They are continuously involved in researches and keep on publishing a lot of papers. Also they are always excited for new opportunities.

The Campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.
