Remarks :
Well the campus is superb, the atmosphere is outstanding. All the greenery one can find. It's peaceful out there. Everybody is quite supportive. The health center is inside the campus and runs ambulance to get the ill students. That's the best.
Course Curriculum Overview :
We used to have 2 Sessional exams of 15 marks each and 1 final exam of 60 marks and 10 marks internal. This was for every semester. course has been designed in such a way that one can prepare for the competitive exams along with the ongoing semesters.
Placement Experience :
placement season starts in the 3 rd year and all the good companies they come for recruitment. They also offer the pre placements to those who have done intern in their company. Min ctc is 3. 75 lps for the company to recruit. And maximum has been 25 lpa around as i can recall.
College Events :
There were and number of events in our college. Starting with the institute gathering where all departments compete with each other in sports dance singing etc. Then we had business events in which many business icons have come to college. There's is technical fest, students from different college participate. There's cultural fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee has hiked. 39500 per semester tution fee and hostel fee was arouns 14000 per semester. That's not what you expect from a College of National level. My college is the second expensive college in terms of fees after NIT Rourkela.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Well for the Students of Maharashtra belonging to obc sc st there was some fee relaxation. But not for those who belong to any other state. Scholarships were also given by the Maharashtra govt to the students of Maharashtra studying in our college.
Campus Life :
Sports complex is the best. You can play all the sports. Laboratory were all good and they had all the equipment and tools which an undergraduate should be able to use or know about them before becoming a complete engineer.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels for 1st 2nd year were poor. 3rd and final year hostels were good. But as always the food has never matched the expectation of students. We had the issue of students getting ill due to bad quality food in our mess.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni meets used to be there every year. The successful alumni of our college used to tell their journey that started in the college itself and yes it was quite inspiring especially for the freshers so that they can get along with the life of campus.
Admission :
I have written jee main examination and qualified in that and been able to get civil engineering in first round of counseling itself. I always wanted to be a civil engineer that's why i chose this branch.
Faculty :
Faculties are mostly the alumni of the college itself and all have done phd in their respective fields. They are highly qualified and have very good knowledge of the subjects. They know how to train the undergraduates for the future.
