Remarks :
There is no allocation of all india industrial visit (IV) from the college side. They are not encouraging this type of IV. I dont know what are the myth behind this. I think this the one of the negative remark about the college i have since the last four years. The positive thing is that there is no politics inside the campus. So college is peacefull most of the time and there by no clash between the students in the name of political party.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Its really good. The semester exam mainly conducted under APJ ABDUL KALAM KERALA TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY. The internal exam conducted by the college itself. Two modules must becompleted before the first internal exam. And then four module must be completed before the second internal exam. This is university rule. But most of the time this rule is violated by most of the colleges. Because the teachers can't complete two or four module within limited time period. So this year university changed the rule.
Placement Experience :
The placement strategy benefits, most of the time for computer science and engineering students. Because the hiring companies are IT related/ software related. The core companies for electrical stream and electronics stream doesn't happened yet. Out of the 156 students placed in this year most of them are working for different IT software companies.
College Events :

Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure not feasible for the students who have no scholarships most of the time. As we comparing the govt colleges the amount to be paid is expensive. Especially for the family who backward in the case of money. They can't afford it, this huge amount of money.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is no direct scholarship policy under the college. They informs the various type of central government and state government scholarships for the students who are eligible for applying the scholarship.
Campus Life :
Its good. College provide various type of events for the students to improve their passion in technology, culture, sports or arts etc. The college provides the active participation in IEEE programmes.
Hostel Facilities :
The amount to paid as hostel fee is a huge burden. Even the men's hostel the monthly payment between 1500 to 2000 without including the food. So the monthly expenditure exceeds an ammount of 5000 to 7000 in a month. Because we have to consume the food from outside. Since no arrangement for food provided by the college in men's hostel. So the men's hostel facility under the direct control of college little bit expensive.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni networks are not much active. So the relation is little bit harder. College facultyies collecting the money for the future development and improvement of alumni organisation. I think it will be in proper action within two or three years.
Admission :
I wrote kerala entrance exam for both medical and engineering especially known as KEAM. After 4 allotment i got an admission in college of engineering chengannur with an admission fee of 40000 rupees.
Faculty :
The numbers of guest lectures are more than the permenant staffs. Our college going through this thing. Most of the time the guest lectures doesn't have enough knowledge about their particular subject. Its may be because of the lack of experience.
