Remarks :

Our forums are a major advantage for us. Each of us are provided various exposure to enrich our talents and show off our skills . IEEE , NSS ,PRODDEC, excess, are various forums of our college . It is well organised

Course Curriculum Overview :

It consists of the basics to the core of our stream . The syllabus is a bit tough and the extra lab knowledge is acquired . Apart from that students are offered basic parts of programming languages like c , c++ etc

Placement Experience :

The placement ratio is growing per year. TCS , TCS elxi, mitsogo, Infosys etc are the major recruiters . As of last year 185 job offers where there and 174 got placed . Internships are offered by forums like IEEE .

College Events :

The major events are techfest, artsfest, festive events , Campion etc . Students are so hyper active in all these events and techfest's are held to enrich their technical and cultural talents and to make them apt for extra curricular activities .

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee rate is feasible . For merit list students the fee is 35000 per year . For NRI students it's 1 lakh and for management category it is 65000. Fee favours and other scholarships are provided for students who are financially backward .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

IEEE scholarships like Richard Merwin are available . And general scholarships like merit cum means and e-grand is available scholarships are a big help for financialy backward and bright students .There are certain criterias for these scholarships .

Campus Life :

The extra curricular activities are held with apt importance considering the stress and strain taken by engineering students. Students are allowed to stay at college till 6:30 for extra curricular activities .

Hostel Facilities :

I opted for men's hostel of our college . It has good infrastructure and facilities . Two inmates are occupied in a room . Kitchen mess is not available . Our hostel has a warden . We make use of our hostel inmates for studies and other help.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni relation cell is very much active . The datas of our alumnis are being collected day by day according to the passing outs. It's Moto is to provide more palcememts and more interaction of the alumnis and the college .

Admission :

I got admissio through entrance exam . The merit list of this college was under 24000 rank for general category . Some documents has to be submitted during admission process like 10 th certificate plus two etc.

Faculty :

Our faculty's are highly qualified and well interactive . They uses the projectors and blackboards so well to convey the concept in a good manner . Guest lecturers are also so nice as they are selected by a good interview committe .

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
