Remarks :

Positives only. College is such an amazing experience for every students who study in Cec. It is one of the best colleges in India as well. The faculty, infrastructure every thing is such nice. Nobody can provide a negative remark about this college. Most of the companies in india are recruiting students from CEC which shows how the college stands.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is nice compared to other universities. Previously it was under CUSAT university but now running under KTU. Exams are run through a strict and neat basis. College ranks one among the top colleges in kerala.

Placement Experience :

There are lot of placement opportunities mostly IT firms. Also technical companies like Bosh, Yokohama are also conducting recruitment drives.Banks like SIB,Federal bank are also recruiting candidates. College ranks top in the case of placement records compared to other private and public colleges in kerala.

College Events :

College conducts mainly two tech fests namely Summit and Magnum. Summit was the firstly launched one and Magnum was started by the batch of 2016 and was a huge success.Now also the tech fests are running successful. Also the college celebrates sports, arts etc and IEEE functions and Alumni meetings etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible for the students who got admission via the entrance exam. But for management quota and NRI quota students the fee structure is little expensive. The exam fee is also not much expensive. But the revaluation fee and supply exam fees are bit expensive.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College offers education loan for all the students who needs financial aid. Also scholarship is available for every student who tops the rank list in every batch. They are exempted from paying the tution fee.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are running successful. It includes NSS, Sports events, Proddec , IEEE etc. Labs are also good. Computer , electronics , electrical , basic mechanical ,microprocessor labs are available. Also sports events like football, cricket , handball, basket ball , badminton , chess, carrom , table tennis ,volleyball facilities are available.

Hostel Facilities :

Lot of hostel facilities are available including college hostel. Mens hostel is available nearby the college itself. Women's hostels are running nearby college and also in Thiruvalla. And a lot of other paying guest and house rent facilities are available.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes the Alumni and the seniors are really helpful. They offered a lot of financial aid for improving the infrastructure and other facilities in the college. Also those who are starting new firms are conducting recruitment drives in the college, for eg Qburst.

Admission :

Via entrance exam. Admissions are mostly through KEAM merit rank list. We can also get admission through management or NRI quota as well. For Entrance exam we have to apply via KEAM entrance website. The admission will be based on the rank list and the further allotments.

Faculty :

Experienced faculties who can frame a good engineer as well as a good human being. All the faculties as well as the lab assistants are very caring and helpful. No negative attitude from anybody who are under the teaching or lab or any other section.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
