Remarks :
I cannot say any negative remark as this is the problem which every state government colleges are suffering ,so it's the issue of government .so every college of this type has same issue so cannot copmare with private instituitions.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses amd curriculum are all similar to the other universities of India but the application of the curriculum matters as the facuy are not good enough to complete the syllabus on time and the teaching style is just to complete the syllabus . with lack of practical knowledge as the facilities aren't provided by the college . Exam is fun from 2017 batch as the college ha got a AUTONOMOUS title so there is no proper timetable 5day before we get the notice of exam am time table 2 day before .in examination hall it feels like it's a formality done bu college as there we incidents when the question we brought 30 minutes late.
Placement Experience :
Very few on campus placement and job opportunities as the college is in very remote area. And the training and placement cell of the college isn't active to convince companies to our college. Our college doesn't provide internship.
College Events :
There is a cultural fest named HORIZON. IT is the biggest fest of our college . Various other branch fest are also celebrated, such as : Computer science- technovation Chemical - quimica Civil engineering- cosmitto And there is no branch fest for mechanical engineering students.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
As compared to other colleges in Odisha the fee structure is feasible . As tuition fee is 31000 /per year. Hostel &mess 38000/per year. That's it and there are few expenses because of its location an the college is in village area.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarship, there is no scholarship scheme given by our college .but college prome students to avail government scholarship to the students to get that.such as Medhabruthi. National scholarship portal (minority community). There is no loan scheme given bu college but ther is a bank in college campus (sbi) where you can get loan easily
Campus Life :
There is a sports event , organised on January every year,it good as compared to the college status. College also conducts inter college sports occasionally. There are some talk in name of extracurricular activity,which I think is good to fit under the title.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are convinient for a student to live 1 year comfortably as the infrastructure and design is all set to give you a homely feeling. But the maintenance of the hostel is no done properly so there are some problems which we suffer and complain box is not for value .
Alumni/Alumna :
It depends on how talanti you are to make a senior a friend as in this college generally juniors are afraid of senior ,so there is a huge gap in the relationship. If u have got a senior as a friend then only u will have a alumni as helpful as friend.
Admission :
Step 1- JEE mains exam Step 2- fill form of ojee with JEE main mark.and select the college and branch respectively. Step 3- after the finalization of the branch and college go for verification to the respective center in your city. Step 4- then go to the college for payment on the respective date. Step 5- then join the college when nu want.
Faculty :
As per State government college it's good. Not suitable for the students who have come from some private school ,as for them it would be very difficult to survive in this situation. And majority of the faculty members in the college talk in odia so it becomes worse situation for non odia to co-operate with the situation generated over any place.
