Remarks :

Best college of india provide good peer with excellent social life. The colleges know how to maintain a balance between education and enjoyment. It offers the best placement throughout the country. It gives students independence and give them space to think and innovate

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are two semesters. In each semester we have a midsem and between midsem and sem and before the midsem we have two quizzes. It implies that 2 semester 2 midsem and 4 quizes in an year. Quizes are generally mcq and midsem and sem are subjective.

Placement Experience :

Yes the college provide great placements with good internships. Everyone is placed with great placement with computer science average placement more than 20 lac and other branches average is around 15 lac

College Events :

Waves cultural fest , quarks techfest and spree sports fest. Zephyr is inter hostel competition. We celebrate every festival and coalescence and metanoia is celebrated. Waves is the biggest fest and we love everything.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is expensive but worth it. The college is not a cheap one it is costly with annual fees around 5 lacs. But the college is not in a money makings business it applies all its money in the welfare of students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provide scholarships based on bitsat score and also merit base scholarships on the basis of cg scored. The top bitsat scorers are given good scholarships and the one scoring 10 cg is given 100% scholarships.

Campus Life :

They are excellent. We have cricket ground football ground badminton courts basted court gym dance workshop music room tennis court freesbee and other sports. We are allowed to play without any restrictions.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are excellent. They are well maintained and provide all the basiic facilities that is required. It is cleaned daily and clean hot and cold water is available always. We have a common room that contains tv table tennis chess and caroon where we can refresh.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yess we have an alumini relations cell with keeps track of all the alumni and they help the college in everything in every possible way they can. And seniors are the coolest they are more like our family

Admission :

Students have to prepare for a exam called bitsat. It contains 150 questions with plus 3 and minus one scheme. There is also 12 bonus questions with same marking scheme. The questions are of a bit ncert plus level

Faculty :

The faculties are determined and teach within the time period. We are tought using slides. The way of teaching is friendly and interactive. We are given space to interact and innovate give our opinions and clear our doubts

The placement is great. The average package is 30 lacs and the median is 30 lacs too. We have Practice School 1 and Practice School 2 which are basically internships, after 2nd and 3rd year respectively.

BITS Goa - One of India’s Premier Institutes

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for placements in their final year. Many companies visit the campus for hiring drives. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Rubrik, Uber etc. These are some of the biggest IT names in the industry. There are companies that come for corre recruitment too. The highest and average packages are kept confidential. But if rumours are to be trusted, the highest package domestic is around 80lpa Atlassian whereas the average is around 24L for IT and 17L overall. More than 90% of the batch gets placed usually. I plan to work in the IT industry for a while. After that, I plan to go for Masters's's in Business Administration. It is all a plan for now, nothing is set in stone.

BITS Pilani-It's Magic

Placement Experience:

Nearly every company visits the campus. Students in their 4th year sit for the placements(5th year for dualities). The average package of the college is around 18LPA, and there is 100% placement. Students go for Practise school (PS) to gain industrial exposure(PS-1 after end of first year and PS-2 in the final year)

Admission:

A student needs to qualify the entrance exam of CSIR or UGC NET JRF and also a person is having basic qualifications with sufficient training of 2-3 months is necessary. Then one can apply for the application online. I fitted in the first one, so I got selected for the interview round which happens only once in a year. Luckily I cleared that also and got an admission in the institute.

Placement Experience:

The institute gives opportunities for the graduates and post-graduates with internships in which they are allowed to carry out various projects related to oceanography. These internships are really beneficial for us to grow and get well-researched information of our own.

Remarks:

After coming to BITS Pilani, Goa and spending some time over here, I can rarely speak anything bad about this campus. Everyone here is very helpful especially the seniors. The campus is so big and so well maintained that is is the place I am very happy to be at, just to give an example, our Cricket ground is maintained by BCCI, our campus has a tie-up with IEEE, TEDx, Google and any more.
