Course and Fee Structure, both are good

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course structure was very good and elaborate. The college has a delicately curated course curriculum, which helped me evolve with the historic events and cultural transitions, we read about.

Placement Experience :

Placement is pretty ordinary in our college. The college has limited corporate connections that too are limited to some specific stream.

College Events :

Our college would take us to different things like Medical Camp and Distribution of Food Item. NCC and NSS were also active in our college. Apart from that many cultural activities, festive celebrations, historic day celebration, we celebrated everything.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for my B.Com program was pretty nominal. Students have to pay INR 7260 per which includes the registration fee and the tuition fee.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Umshyrpi College supports the education of Muslim minority section through scholarships such as freeships, Post Matric Scholarship and Border area scholarships.

Campus Life :

The campus life was nice. Good infrastructure, good people and good memories. The faculty and non-teaching staff, all were very supportive. The social life also teasing and pleasing. You can easily make friends there. A lot of cultural activities gave enough opportunities to interact with people from different backgrounds.

Admission :

The admission process is pretty simple and straightforward. The college gives special preference to the girl child and students from economically weaker sections. I was considering going to Delhi for higher studies, I am glad that I joined this college.

Faculty :

Faculty is good but it mostly depends on the teacher. Some are genuinely concerned about the future of the students. While some merely look to wrap up the curriculum. Some of the faculty members were very supportive and focused on explaining things in detail.

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided but i haven't really minded it. As for me i would go for competitive exam such as SCC and work hard to get in. My goal is to only get a degree so i can give exams. I also hope that everyone knows which field they should go into.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course as I had earlier studied in the commerce background so I opted for that. When it came to the college, it helped me learn the course in depth and it further provided more information on the course materials and later build us towards a proper approach to studies. The timing of exams were very easy and easy for all the students considering some of us had part time jobs to attend.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For me now it's okay but we got many teachers for only one subject and not just 2-3 but 5 .soo it's kind of weird and feels very unnecessary . One of the major problem that we faced that our college was not sure whether to apply NEP20 or not . Because of that we were not sure of the syllabus. And in first semester I think main subject were not so main.

Remarks:

Nothing as such. I loved studying there. It gave me an opportunity to let people know that college name does not matter but how well you prepare yourself during your exam.

Admission:

I got admission due to my merit. It was not a tough to get in there as they believe in the students rather than concentrating on he marks that they had score. They took just 5 mins interview and I was selected and I was great ful to this college who had given me an opportunity to grow and study.
