Remarks :

Intention of management is quite good over here but it lags in implementation .-Sometimes things are enforced on you by management which should usually have been left upto you .

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course structure depends on you because it is flexible, You choose what courses to take .

Internships Opportunities :

For B.Tech students internship is provided. If other college students want to do internship in this IIT, they can do .

Placement Experience :

B.Tech placements are good . For M.Tech not so good. M.Tech students are safe considering they get jobs easily in any nearby college with good salary.

College Events :

Bilithron, Fresher's party, Prom night, Technical fest in combination with IIM ahmedabad.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes , you can get loan very easily from the SBI or canara bank if you are a student at IIT gandhinagar.

Campus Life :

Gender ration is more thatn other IITs but is still low. A lot of freedom is provided to students ,especially girls . There are clubs setup and run by students basically in all sports,co curricular activities . Students here are from all parts of India. Lot of free workshops and short courses are run here , which are quite useful.

Hostel Facilities :

Food, Mess , Hostel are awesome . Fee structure is quite reasonable. Living in hostel is compulsary.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

College seniors are very helpul . Alumni base is not that strong because its a new IIT , but few alumni do visit here regularly.

Faculty :

Faculty is highly qualified . Their profile is very strong.

Placement Experience:

We all know about the placement of IITs. The IITs provide one of the best placements and IIT Gandhinagar is also not behind. The placement record of the college is 100%. The placement committee is very helpful and supportive. The placement cell guides us throughout our placement process and makes sure that we get placed according to our program and interest. the highest package for our batch was around 34 LPA and the average package was around 10 LPA. Companies like Adobe, Microsoft, Google, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Siemens, L&T, Essar, Cipla, Tata Motors, etc visited the campus during the placement drive of the college.
