Selection for Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management at IIM Ranchi is based on the performance of the students in CAT, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (PI & WAT), and also on their profile. The WAT and PI are conducted by the institute.
For the initial shortlisting of WAT/ PI, 70% weightage is given to the CAT score, 15% weightage was given to the discipline at the Bachelor’s Level, and 15% weightage was given to the Work Experience
Post the WAT-PI, for the final selection of the candidates the institute considers other factors like past academic records( 10th, 12th & Graduation), work experience, category, diversity(academics and gender), extra-curricular, and of course CAT and WAT-PI scores.
