Master in RF domain has two aspects namely research and placements. Firstly you need to determine where your interests lie. The answer talks about both aspects to help you make an informed decision.

Research: Research-wise, this field has not been explored yet and anyone who pursues research in this field will have a plethora of opportunities to choose from. You have 2 options, either apply for a Ph.D. in India or go abroad for the same.
Placement: The placement scenario of RF and Microwave Engineering of all IITs are somewhat similar. IIT Roorkee has a placement percentage of 85% and is expected to achieve 100% in the near future.

All in all, there is great scope for doing an MTech in RF and Microwave from IIT Guwahati.
