New Delhi: The University of Calicut has launched three new Masters in Arts (MA) and Integrated MA courses from the academic session 2024-25. The courses are: MA Epigraphy & Manuscriptology offered by the Tunjan Manuscript Repository and Multi-Disciplinary Research Centre, Integrated MA Sanskrit Language and Literature (General) offered by Department of Sanskrit and Integrated MA Arabic Language and Literature offered by the Department Of Arabic.
University of Calicut will be conducting the admission to these courses through the university entrance exam CUCAT 2024. Interested candidates can register through CUCAT 2024 till April 26, 2024. Students enrolling for Integrated MA programs will have the opportunity to exit the course after 3 years with a bachelors degree.
Who are Eligible to apply for the PG Courses?
We have discussed the details of the courses, eligibility criteria below:

| MA Epigraphy & Manuscriptology | 20 | Students having any UG Degree of this University or any other UG degree recognized by this University |
| Integrated MA Sanskrit Language and Literature (General) | 20 | The candidates who have passed any course in higher secondary education or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Universities in Kerala |
| Integrated MA Arabic Language and Literature | 30 | Students who have successfully completed the Plus Two or Afzalal-Ulama Preliminary Examination conducted by a Board/ University or its Equivalent shall be eligible for admission. |
What is the Application Fee to apply for the PG Courses?
The application fee for applying to the newly introduced PG courses is:
- INR 580 for General Category candidates
- INR 255 for SC/ST candidates
How to Apply for the Courses through CUCAT 2024?
You will need to follow the below mentioned steps to apply for CUCAT 2024:
- Visit the official website of Calicut University - admission.uoc.ac.in
- Click on “Apply Now” and create a CAP ID by entering all the personal information which include the mobile number, email ID of the student, etc.
- After filling in all the details and creating CAP ID and password click on the register button
- Complete the student profile by filling in all the necessary details such as marks in qualifying examination, uploading of necessary documents photograph according to the size given in the form
- Save the details and proceed
- Now select the college course.
- After selecting the course of a choice click on final submit and pay the fees
- Pay online registration fees that is INR 420 for general category students and INR 175 for SC and ST students.
