UPES Dehradun BTech CSE tuition and academic service fees add to ₹22,41,400 across eight semesters for the 2026-27 intake. Hostel, deposits, training and other separate charges are extra. Fees differ by school and specialisation. Applications are open for 2027-28, but that intake has no confirmed course fee schedule yet.

The lower non-CS BTech amount applies to Stream II and the Chemical Engineering fee group. KPMG/EY MBA programmes also have higher fees than the general MBA group.
Tuition and Academic Service Fees
CSE first-year semester fees include ₹1,55,000 tuition and ₹1,03,300 academic services, totalling ₹2,58,300. Each semester rises to ₹2,72,300 in year two, ₹2,87,300 in year three and ₹3,02,800 in year four.
Other UPES Charges for the 2026-27 Intake
Other 2026-27 charges include ₹20,000 refundable security, ₹3,800 per semester for first-year technology services, ₹2,478 including GST for alumni, ₹500 for the ID card and ₹500 for first-year medical insurance. Convocation is ₹3,300 in the second-last semester. Later technology fees come with the semester bill.
Personality development is ₹23,300 for most UG students, split between admission and the second-last semester; BCom and BSc are excluded. PG students pay ₹9,000 at registration. A one-time ₹31,300 training and certification fee applies in semester two to eligible course groups.
UPES Hostel and Transport fees 2026-27
Triple-sharing accommodation with a common washroom at Bidholi or Kandoli is ₹1,95,810 for 2026-27. Kandoli double-sharing AC is ₹2,78,300. Rooms are limited, and refundable hostel security is ₹10,000 extra. The allotment bill must confirm the mess component.
Dehradun transport is ₹31,000 for the 2026-27 academic year.
UPES Scholarships 2026-27
For 2026-27, entry-level Class 12 scholarships covered 10%-30% of tuition. Other first-year awards used JEE Main or CUET UG percentile and CLAT rank. Eligible Uttarakhand students had a separate 25% tuition concession. The 2027-28 scholarship terms are awaited.
Where more than one entry scholarship applied, UPES awarded the highest eligible concession. First-year entrance awards did not automatically continue for the full degree.
