Meanwhile, the decision of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct JEE Main 2021 four times did not go well with lecturers and parents. Calling for a completely unnecessary move, they said that conducting JEE as early as in February would create tremendous pressure on students, especially as the syllabus is not completed in most colleges.
"It is not advisable to conduct competitive examinations continuously for the fourth month and may have adverse effects onboard examinations as well said Ashok Kumar, IIT Coordinator, Narayana Group of Institutions.

Few argued that students might prefer to appear for JEE in February or May, as these dates do not coincide with the board of directors' examinations.
"NTA gives students more options. They don't have to appear for all four of the exams if they are confident that they will perform one of the exams. This is not necessary, however. It's like having four Olympics at the same time and giving gold medals to four different people," said M Uma Sankar, All India Coordinator, Sri Chaitanya Group, adding that average students can take advantage of these exams and score well.
Registration for JEE Main 2021 February Session began on Wednesday, i.e.16 December. The second, third and final exams will be held in March, April and May, respectively.
