The UGC NET December 2023 exam has been conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Also, there's a scheduling conflict with Panjab University's semester exams in various subjects, until December 14.
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the UGC NET December 2023 exam on December 6, 2023. However, there was a scheduling conflict for semester exams in various subjects at Panjab University, as they clashed with the UGC-NET exam. The Panjab University Semester Exams are scheduled to continue until December 14.
Following representations from final-year postgraduate students expressing concerns about a clash between their university exams and the UGC NET December 2023 exam, the university has advised department chairpersons and college principals to inform these students that they have the option to take the UGC NET exam.
In cases where a clash of dates occurs, the affected papers will be rescheduled alongside the February 2024 clash exams.
Panjab University has requested an authenticated list of such students, including their name, class, university roll number, and contact number, to be submitted to the office within 10 days of the students completing their papers, along with the UGC NET admit card, the official notification said.
For the UGC NET exam in 2023, candidates are required to bring their NET admit card along with a valid ID proof to the examination center.
As per the UGC NET exam pattern for 2023, both Paper 1 and Paper 2 consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) without any negative marking. Paper 1 is allocated a total of 100 marks, while Paper 2 carries a total of 200 marks, with each question holding two marks. The examination will be three hours long and conducted in online mode.
