NID Releases BDes Seat Allotment Results

New Delhi: The National Institute of Design (NID) has declared the results of the NID DAT 2023 counselling session for seat allotment for the academic session 2023-24. Candidates who appeared for the NID DAT 2023 exam can check their NID DAT results available on the official portal @admissions.nid.edu.

In order to check the NID DAT 2023 results and know the seat allotment status, the candidate can log in to the candidate portal using their login credentials. The window to check the NID DAT 2023 results of Seat Allotment in the NID counselling process will be activated till May 31, 2023.

NID DAT 2023 Results of Seat-allotment in NID DAT 2023 Counselling Process:

Step 1: Go to the official NID website @admissions.nid.edu.

Step 2: From the homepage, navigate to the latest section and click on the link for NID result 2023 of “BDes seat allotment, payment of token fees & uploading of documents.

Step 3:“BDes admissions 2023-24: Seat Allotment” will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Then, you should enter your email address and date of birth and hit the submit button.

Step 5: The screen will show the NID DAT result 2023 of seat allotment and further admission process-related details.

Step 6: You can check the details, save the result and take a printout for future reference.

Earlier, the NID DAT mains 2023 result was released on May 19 at 4 PM. While the preliminary NID entrance exam was held on January 8, with the NID DAT exam date 2023 for mains level being held on April 30 for BDes programme.

About NID DAT 

The NID DAT also known as the National Institute of Design - Design Aptitude Test, is a national level two-tier entrance exam conducted for aspirants interested in pursuing NID courses such as industrial design, apparel design, communication design textile etc, i.e, the four-year undergraduate B.Des (Bachelor of Design) program and two and half year M.Des (Masters of Design) programs offered by NIDs. Initially, NID DAT Prelims is conducted followed by DAT Mains for candidates who have qualified for the prelims
