Dr. Ramakrishna Guttula received his B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University, India, and M.Tech in Instrumentation and Control Systems from JNTUK, India. He obtained his Ph.D. from Acharya Nagarjuna University, AP, India. His current research interests include Microstrip Antennas, Electromagnetic Field Theory, and Solid State Electronics. Currently, he is working as a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Dean-IQAC, Aditya College of Engineering(A), Surampalem, AP, India. He has 15 quality publications and is a life member of IETE.

You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

The education sector has the potential to make a difference in individuals and society as a whole and this keeps me connected to this field.


Being the Dean of Aditya College of Engineering, what is your leadership philosophy? How would you describe your leadership style?

My leadership philosophy is to ensure a quality culture in the institution through quality initiatives taken with internal and external support and creating a supportive learning environment in our institution for the benefit of students and all stakeholders.


The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

We offer international quality education with Indian roots and studying here in our institute students have an affordable cost of education, diverse academic opportunities, and global career prospects. 


How does the curriculum of Aditya College of Engineering ensure the best practice of industry?

The curriculum of Aditya College of Engineering not only focuses on regular academics but also has internships, field works, industrial visits, and various certification courses in association with a wide range of industries. Aditya College of Engineering has established an in-house training center named Technical Hub (T-Hub) which takes care of industry-collaborated certifications.

To become a center of excellence in engineering education with 100% placements is our top priority over the next five years.

What would you like people to know about your college they may not know?
