What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt?

ECE is a growing program with several opportunities when students complete the course. They are much needed in the industry, either in software or in hardware. Students can even achieve higher goals with this subject knowledge and practical knowledge. They will be working on the design and development of devices and systems. ECE graduates have diverse career opportunities in various industries, including telecommunications, IT, healthcare, automotive, aerospace, and consumer electronics. At Sri Venkateswara Institute of Technology, we provide good quality education along with practical knowledge. We make students focus more on practicals than on theory. In our college, we make students complete mini projects in the third year, which will be helpful for their final year projects and many more.

How do you tend to build an industry connection with the program?

Sri Venkateswara Institute of Technology has signed up with several companies for student career growth. We signed MOUs with top MNC companies and we encourage students by sending them to internships and making them learn practical knowledge about how industries work, what materials and equipment are used in industries and what programs they do in industries.


What were the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program in your curriculum?

The biggest challenge we face is the background of our students. Many of them are from rural areas of Anantapur. They have good knowledge and great ideas but they lack communication skills. They are very bright students but due to a lack of communication skills, they are struggling during the placements. For this, our college provides extra classes to help them improve their written and spoken skills.


What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?

A B.Tech degree has several career options. Students can try hard and get a placement and move their career by doing the job, or if they have good skills and new ideas they can become entrepreneurs or they can also go for higher studies.
