Dr. N.A.V. Prasad has completed a B.Tech in Electronic and Communication Engineering from Gulbarga University, Karnataka. He has done M.Tech in VLSI Design from Sathyabama University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Communications from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, U.P. His thesis is named "Improvement in the Channel Capacity and Reduction of Interference in OFDM Ultra." He is an accomplished researcher with a strong track record of contributing to the fields of VLSI Design and Electronic and Communication Engineering. His work has been recognized and published in reputable journals, demonstrating a commitment to advancing knowledge in these domains.

You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

In my career, I have seen a lot of different characters in students, so there is a typical challenge in that to mold each student. Every student doesn't have a similar mentality. It made me that we need to mold students differently and this is the main thing that made me connect with the education sector.


As the Vice Principal of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, what is your leadership philosophy? How would you describe your leadership style?

My philosophy of leadership is as I said before, the creation of a friendly atmosphere and at times need to maintain good discipline and make the students disciplined not with fear but as a friend. Here I’ll try to remove the fear from the students to make them free and they will connect with me easily. Then students will automatically give respect and we can make put them in the discipline. 


How does the curriculum of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology ensure the best practice of industry?

Yeah Industry Connect is so important nowadays, and the curriculum we follow is given by JNTUA which includes training programs, industry visits, and more. Here in our college, we are doing additional things like sending students to internships and Industry orientation programs and more, which are helpful for the students for their future.

Any insights into how your College could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

In our college, there are students from different religions, races, and also from different economic backgrounds. We never differentiate students. Once the student enters into the campus all are equally treated in our college.


What do you think are your roles and responsibilities to the College and the students?

Here my role is to maintain every aspect of students and faculty and also need to check and implement new ideas to increase the ability of the students and check that things are working fine or if any errors going on and try to solve the situations.


When you first came to Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, what was your vision for the College? Has it evolved, and how far along in implementing that vision are you?

Every person has some ideas to implement there will be time to implement those things. I do have too many ideas to implement for I’m Waiting for the right situation and perfect time to implement.
