MAKAUT CET 2022 exam will be held on July 5. Earlier the exam was scheduled for June 30 but the authority has now released a new date. Previously, the authority released MAKAUT CET 2022 admit card on June 27 at its official website makautwb.ac.in. The examination will be held in two shifts for UG and PG courses. MAKAUT CET 2022 for UG courses will be held on July 5 from 3 PM. MAKAUT CET 2022 for PG courses will be held from 5 PM.

Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology Common Entrance Test (MAKAUT CET) is state level test. Candidates seeking admission to MAKAUT affiliating colleges/ in-house BSc, MSc, BCA, and BBA programs need to appear for the test. The registration for the exam was conducted from June 2-26, 2022 in an online mode.

MAKAUT CET 2022 is conducted for admission to Non AICTE professional courses. Minimum eligibility required to apply for UG courses is 10+2 in General or Vocational Stream from any recognized Board. The candidate should score pass marks in each of the main subjects. For PG courses, the candidate must have passed Honours degree from anu UGC recognized University. MAKAUT CET 2022 Eligibility

Candidates planning to appear for MAKAUT CET 2022 exam must qualify for the same. The basic eligibility criteria set by the conducting authorities must be met. These include:

  • Candidates must have passed or appeared in 10 + 2 or equivalent exam in 2022. 
  • Those planning to appear in 10+2 level are also eligible. 
  • The qualifying exam must be in general/vocational stream.
  • The graduation must be completed from WBCHSE (West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education) or equivalent exam.
  • Eligibility for candidates planning to appear in postgraduate courses is 3 years Bachelor’s Degree Program in any of the subjects mentioned in the eligibility table of the official brochure. 

MAKAUT CET 2022 Registration

MAKAUT CET 2022 Registration portal is now closed. MAKAUT CET exam fee is INR 500 for general/OBC candidates and INR 250 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

MAKAUT CET 2022 Admit Card can be downloaded by candidates who completed their registration online from the official website. The admit card contains important details pertaining to the exam which must be verified by candidates before downloading the same. 

MAKAUT CET 2022 Exam Day Guidelines

  • Candidates must appear for the test from their laptop or desktop with a camera. Smartphones with cameras are also allowed.
  • Candidates must check their internet connection from this link - cetmat.examflix.in.
  • The exam will be conducted under the supervision of proctors.
  • Latest version of google chrome must be installed for laptop and desktop users while those taking the test from their smartphones must have the latest google chrome app downloaded from the play store.

  • Smartphone users must turn off all notifications from the app settings for distracting apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and more.
  • Candidates must inform friends and family to call them during exam hours as incoming calls will result in exam termination.
  • Do not move out of the exam page during the test.
  • Tests must be taken from a secluded and silent environment. 
  • Do not minimize the browser window which will result in exam termination.
  • In case of connectivity issues, login again using the same credentials.
  • Any textbook, course notes, or outside help must not be received.
  • Washroom beaks are not allowed during the exam.

MAKAUT CET 2022 Result

MAKAUT CET 2022 Result will be announced by the authorities soon after the exam has been conducted. The scores can be checked by logging into the application portal using login credentials. The score card/ rank card must be preserved till the counselling process. Candidates will be allotted seats based on the exam result.

MAKAUT CET 2022 Counselling

Candidates are required to participate in the selection process post result announcement. Candidates must appear at the allotted counselling centre on the exact date and time. Carry all important documents with you to complete the process with minimum hassle. Candidates can submit their preferred college and program during choice filling.
