Mr. Mukul Sharma is currently working as an Assistant Professor at LPU. He is a Mechanical Engineer and an Android expert. He is the founder of www.androidupdated.com and www.stufflistings.com. He’s an expert in SEO and Content Marketing. Prior to LPU, he has worked as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant. He is also an Ex National Defence Academy Cadet. Mr. Sharma has the honor of being in the ‘Top 5’ most searched persons on Quora.

Mr. Mukul Sharma’s vivid experience in the education industry

I have been associated with the Indian Army as I am an ex-National Defence Academy cadet. I have worked with Decathlon Sports. I have worked with Cognizant Technology Solutions in the Mainframe department. I also own a website i.e. www.androidupdated.com. Post all this, I steered my career towards the education industry and, need I say, this has been the most rewarding so far. What makes the education industry the best to work in is the returns you get.

I am a sheer business-minded human being and I believe in getting results out of my investments, be it in the form of money, time, or energy. Training the students pays me well in the form of a decent income, but more importantly in the form of the love the students give to me in return. No happiness equates the amount of happiness I get when they become successful in life.

Leadership philosophy of Mr. Sharma

Being very honest, I have a very different style of leadership. I refrain from the stereotypical methods of teaching/training.

So far, this has worked out pretty well for me and I do not see any reason as to why it won’t in the future too.

Challenges to deal with for Assistant Professor

LPU has been a substantial part of my life for the past 7 years. The biggest challenge that I have faced as an Assistant Professor is to make our students understand the hard work and efforts, we as an organization put in to make them a successful human being in life. That said, we are competent enough to guide our students well and that shows almost everywhere. I am not talking about just placements. Look at our students shine in TV shows, our bloggers top the Google rankings, and our entrepreneurs strengthen the nation.

Curriculum matching Industry standards

We have an entire unit which works to ensure that the curriculum which is being followed in LPU matches the standards of the industry. We have a dedicated School of Professional Enhancement which caters to the professional development of our students and to make them business ready.

Transformation noticed over the past years

The education industry is no more what it used to be. Classrooms are not confined to those 4 walls anymore. With the ever-increasing industrial demands, the education industry has also evolved substantially.

Availability for the students

Not just me, my entire team has one single goal – our students and their success in life. On top of being available in the classrooms, we take things further by connecting with them on the social media. As a matter of fact, we have WhatsApp groups for each section we cater to. We are there on almost all the social media channels.

We have a dedicated team of people who provide our students with the daily scoop of news, latest industry trends, and everything of that sort through the social media. We have established a strong social media presence (you can find out our clubs like ECHO, METAL, GRIP, and a lot more like these which are student-driven and which provide them with all the necessary ingredients for success)

Goals in mind for LPU

We have consistently been evolving ever since the inception. Over the next few years, my personal goal will be to make our students more confident in life, more practical, and more professional.  My team lead and I are trying our level best to make our students digitally aware and industry ready.

Suggestions for the aspirants

There is no alternative to hard work. I have been working hard for long and I do not plan to stop anytime soon. If you believe that you are getting enough sleep, trust me, you are not working hard.

Enjoy life to the fullest, I do too, but know your role towards the society and towards your family. God Bless us all.
