You have held key positions at education institutes throughout your professional career. What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

For the last 20 years, I have been in the education space, and continuous learning has been my biggest motivator. Whatever new technology is there today, learn it and whatever new learning is there, focus on understanding it and keep updating your knowledge.

As a principal and a professor, I am fond of teaching and always motivate students to learn new things. Learning new things will help students become better human beings and succeed ahead. Knowledge is limitless, and we should always share the knowledge we learn from our experiences.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

Leadership is a "personal roadmap" that translates your beliefs, values, and principles. A strong leadership philosophy sets the foundation for ethical decision-making. Moreover, it guides a person's life and work-related concerns. As a leader, I like to work with everyone, with everyone's efforts, which results in desired outcomes. By chance, if there is any weak member in our team, I allow him to learn, and lead so that he understands his weakness and improves upon the same.

Being the President/VC of XYZ College/University, how do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

A student would enroll himself/herself there where they can learn something new. So apart from academic courses, we have value-added courses for the student which will help them learn new things and increase their learning curve. Every student going out of college is a brand ambassador. Our students are very grounded and rooted in the positive values of our society.

The education systems in India and other foreign countries are structured very differently. In your experience, what can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute/ university/ school?

If we talk about the education of our country and foreign countries, there is a lot of difference between the two.

NEP was recently launched to give a practical approach to education.

The education structure here is comparatively better as the student learns things from the basics, and learning is based more on a practical approach. Our students have a practical outlook toward education and life which will help them succeed in their careers.

How does the curriculum of XYZ College/University ensure the best practice of industry?

The curriculum of our college is not only designed for studying but also devised in such a way that the student has a higher focus on a practical approach toward life. Therefore, we have the most relevant curriculum for our students.

Any insights into how your university could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

Our college is pretty student-centric. Students are not at all discriminated against and are treated fairly and respectfully.

Students from weaker financial backgrounds are made aware about the scholarship schemes sponsored by the State Government or Central Government. We also have a Chancellor's scholarship program. We provide all sorts of help and support to the students as and when needed.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University and the students are?

My role as a principal is to improve the college, maintain a healthy bond between students and teachers, and focus on maintaining Discipline.

We adhere to all the standards in the institution, and as a professor, I focus on providing complete knowledge to the students.

What do you think should be the University’s top priority over the next 10 years?

Our focus is on Research & Development, which is of utmost importance to the students. In the coming times, we aim to carry out different projects for the students to develop their skills and enhance their skills.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

You don't get anything without hard work, so keep working.

Think before you act. The simple but effective process of clear thinking will help you avoid making critical mistakes that could cost you your freedom, education, or life.

Today you have everything just use all the resources in the right manner. Have faith in yourself, keep learning, and be humble. And whatever work you take, do not leave it in the middle.
