Yash Shirbhate Interview Experience

Yash Shirbhate’s Interview was conducted online on April 7, 2023 with a Panel comprising 3 Members: 2 Professors, (one Male and one Female) and 1 Alumni. The day before his interview, Yash received an email listing the interviewers' names. This helped him prepare by learning about them and thinking about potential questions. These are some of the questions asked to him by the panelists:

Question (Male SM Professor): Tell me about yourself?

Ans: I respond with a prepared answer.

Question (Male SM Professor): What is your Job at ZS?

Ans: Described all my duties and what I do on a daily basis. Additionally, shared information about the COVID drug GTM strategy I worked on.

Question (Male SM Professor): Why Sustainability Management?

Ans: I discussed the PPP approach and the growing significance of ESG norms, including frameworks like BSBR. Noted their increasing mandate and highlighted the potential future growth of this field.

Question (Male SM Professor): In what ways can you bring your learnings to the class?

Ans: I talked about the things I've learned from working with the US and European clients, like solving problems and telling stories. I also mentioned how I have experience in both technology and consulting.

Question (Alumni): So, you talked about ESG norms. Can you tell me about CSR and ESG in your company?

Ans: I shared all the Information I knew.

Question (Alumni): So you mentioned that you like cooking. What's the best dish you make?

Ans: I told them about my love for cooking biryani and how my passion for cooking grew stronger over the years.

The Female Professor asked simple math questions about Integration and Differentiation, along with their basic definitions. After that, she finished her part and asked if I had any questions. 

I asked about NITIE becoming IIM Mumbai, and she said our group might be the first to receive the IIM degree.
