A very good experience at Gods own Campus "IIM Mumbai".

Campus life is quite good with all the amenities available
Placement assistance provided by vcollege make sure that college obtains 100% placement

Hostel should provide single rooms and attached washrooms
Curriculum should be eased off little bit. Too much subject to study in little time

The college provides 100% internship opportunities. Placement committees call companies of different domains and provide student with opportunities to pursue the internship with the company of their interest.

What to expect from NITIE, Definitely is what you think

Diverse background of the students despite all being engineers, everyone here has some talent
Beautifully located in between the two lakes of Mumbai

Rain, you get wet with or without umbrella neck to toe
Does not have Coed hostels and also lifts are always over burdened because of the 16 floor hostel

Placement Experience:

in the first semester, there is SIP, then the final placements, which start around November. there are all big players coming to NITIE but FMCG companies are abundant. The Big 4 and Mckiensy also visits for consulting. there are about 500 offers made. Highest Package: 78.2 LPA Average Package: 26.8 LPA Profiles tend to be supply chain related but not limited to it. 100% of students get placed. To enter into a big consulting firm and thereafter become a partner of it.

Boys Hostel Infrastructure needs some more advancements.

2 Beautiful years of my Life

Greenery in campus and the facility available specially gym and sports facility.
Curriculam structure and library and also library is opened on weekend and the kind of support we get from academics.

Infrastructure is quite good as compared to other IIMs and other government colleges.

Great and prestigious companies like P&G, J&J, Pidilite, HUL, Kearney, Accenture, etc come to campus for internship opportunities with an average stipend of 1 lakh ( or more) and college is eligible for almost all corporate competitions like HUL lime.
