I cultivate positive relations within the college by encouraging mutual support and understanding between faculty and students. Creating an environment of open communication and collaborative work, I value diverse ideas and opinions. Regular meetings with faculty and sessions for student feedback are conducted to address concerns transparently. I also organize workshops, seminars, and events to foster interaction and knowledge sharing. This emphasis on respect, trust, and cooperation fosters an environment that bolsters learning, research, and overall growth within the department.
How do you help your students to cope with the high competition outside?
We concentrate on implementing practical and effective teaching methods that impart essential skills and knowledge to our students. To align academic learning with industry needs, we emphasize industrial internships, extra-curricular projects, and technical training beyond the regular curriculum. Organizing frequent industrial visits offers students firsthand exposure to real-world situations. These experiences not only enrich their technical expertise but also nurture problem-solving capabilities and industry insight. By amalgamating theoretical learning with practical exposure, we empower our students to excel in a competitive landscape and thrive in their future pursuits.
How do you bring in a practical approach towards the subject?
We strive to instil a practical approach in our subject delivery. Conducting seminars with industry experts is a key element where students can benefit from the experiences and wisdom shared. Emphasizing research initiatives and project-driven learning, students practically apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts. Hands-on sessions within our curriculum enable students to engage directly with automotive equipment, fostering practical skills and problem-solving capabilities. These initiatives are tailored to equip our students with the essential competencies needed to tackle the challenges and demands of the industry.
