VITEEE is one of the most prominent entrance tests in the country.
- The duration of VITEEE 2024 is 2 hours 30 minutes.
- It is generally conducted in three sessions per day.

Preparation Tips from VITEEE Toppers
The following are some helpful tips by the candidates who appeared in VITEEE:
- Vinay Soni says, “The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary but success doesn’t come until you work for it”.
Vinay Soni cracked VITEEE with a percentile score of 98. Vinay suggests focussing on NCERT textbooks in detail. He also advises solving all the questions given at the back of every chapter of NCERT books. For mathematics, Vinay suggests solving EAMCET. When asked about the study materials, Vinay says, “Just follow the NCERT textbooks first and then other reference books and you will surely make it.” Throughout the conversation, Vinay focused his attention on the importance of the role of NCERT books in his preparation.
- Sanket R says, “The successful warrior is the average man, with laser-like focus”.
Sanket R cleared VITEEE with 94 percentile. He says, “Practising with a focused mind can make your weak areas just as the strong ones. So, practice hard to get selected in your dream institute”. Sanket advises all future applicants to never mug-up anything but understands the logic. Sanket also says that one should always focus on his/her weak sections. Ques. Whose entrance exam is the toughest, SRM, VIT or Manipal?
Ans. All 3 entrance exams have different marking schemes, no. of questions, syllabus and time limit. It may differ from person to person but according to general consensus the verdict is that the difficulty of exams follows this order VIT > Manipal > SRM. They are usually all considered easier than other entrances like BITS and JEE Main. All three exams have a “no negative marking” system. SRMJEEE updated their system in 2018.
