How can I prepare for the VITEEE 2025 exam?
In this exam, mathematics has the maximum weightage so you must focus on it more than other subjects. 40 questions will be asked from Maths and the difficulty level will be low to moderate. You have to finish 125 questions in 150 minutes so you must practise questions with a time limit. Check VITEEE Preparation Tips
In mathematics, questions come from every section so you have to practise all the chapters. To be specific you can focus on Algebra and Calculus more. Hyperbolas and parabolas are more important than straight lines and circles in Conic Sections. The syllabus from class 12t is more important than the class 11th syllabus.
Apart from mathematics, you need to focus on Electromagnetism from Physics as many questions are asked from this. Maximum questions are asked from Organic Chemistry so you need to prepare it well. Practising previous years' questions can be helpful.
Is it possible to prepare for the VITEEE in a month and get a good rank?
Cracking VITEEE with only one month of preparation is hard but not impossible. With proper time management and smart work, it can be achieved. You must focus on the class 12th Mathematics syllabus as maximum questions are asked from there. Electromagnetism is one of the most important topics in physics so you must not skip it.
You can practise reading comprehension daily so that you can solve it in the exam in less time. As the time is short you need to choose important topics and make short notes on important chapters like. You can develop your accuracy and speed to cover the maximum syllabus in the minimum time by setting a timer for each practice set. Focus on practising mock tests, sample papers and previous years’ question papers daily.
What is the exam pattern for the VITEEE exam?
In the exam, you will be given a total of 125 questions. Each correct answer can give you a +1 mark and there is no negative marking. You will have 150 minutes to complete all the questions. The question pattern is given below.
For MPCEA Students | For BPCEA Students |
---|---|
40 questions from Mathematics | 40 Questions from Biology |
35 questions from Physics | 35 questions from Physics |
35 questions from Chemistry | 35 questions from Chemistry |
5 questions from English | 5 questions from English |
10 questions from Aptitude | 10 questions from Aptitude |
Is it hard for an average candidate like me to rank 100-1000 in the VITEEE 2025 exam?
The quality of the students does not matter here. Whether you are an average student or a good student, all you need to do is smart work. You have to focus more on the 12th CBSE syllabus than the 11th as 70% of questions are asked from the 12th syllabus. In Chemistry you can focus on Physical and Organic Chemistry as 80% of questions are asked from these sections. Electromagnetism, Modern Physics and Mechanics are the most important sections as they cover 80% of questions so you must focus on these chapters. Calculus and algebra cover 70% of questions so you can practise these daily to get maximum marks. If you are doing smart study and making a good strategy then you can crack the exam easily. Solving past years’ papers and MCQs with a time limit can be a good strategy.
Does the VITEEE exam syllabus include the entire 11th and 12th portions or only some selected topics only?
Above 90% of questions in the exam come from the 12th CBSE syllabus. The difficulty level of the questions is low to moderate. If you want to get a good score you must go through the detailed syllabus of 12th CBSE. You also have to study the 11th CBSE syllabus to be on the safer side.
