The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has commenced spot admissions for the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) 2024, on August 30th. Candidates are advised to visit the official TSCHE website – tgeapcetd.nic.in, to access admission details and submit applications. The final date for TG EAPCET 2024 spot admissions is September 2, 2024.

  • Registration for the second round of counselling started on July 26th.
  • The web options entry for phase 2 commenced on July 27th and concluded on July 28th.
  • In this phase, candidates could accept their allocated seats with or without participation for the next phase.

TSCHE closed the portal for fee submission and self-reporting on July 23d, 2024. The authority will conduct TS EAMCET counselling 2024 in three phases: 1st, 2nd and final.

The Telangana Council of Higher Education released the phase 1 seat allotment result on July 19th at tgeapcet.nic.in. Candidates can check the seat allotment result using their respective login credentials.

TS EAMCET Counselling Process

Let’s Check Step-by-Step Procedure for TS EAMCET Counselling Process

The counselling will be in online mode. Candidates should complete the counselling processes per the schedule to be considered for admission. Follow the steps below for counselling process:

Step 1: Payment of Registration Fees: In this first phase, Candidates must pay registration fees for participating in counselling. To pay the fees candidates can use debit/credit or net banking. Students of the unreserved category have to pay Rs.1200 while reserved category candidates have to pay Rs.600.

Step 2: Verification of Certificates- After the registration each candidate will get an offline verification centre. It is known as slot booking. Students have to report to the verification centres for document verification according to the schedule.

8 Important Documents You Need to Carry at Verification Centre:

  1. Residence certificate if the candidate has no institutionalised education.
  2. Income Certificate issued after 01.01.2024 (Income below 1 lakh)
  3. Aadhaar Card
  4. Caste Certificate issued by competent authority ( If Required)
  5. Transfer Certificate
  6. Physically Challenged (PH) / CAP / NCC/Sports / Minority certificate (if applicable).
  7. Residence certificate for Non-Local candidates.
  8. Mark Sheets from classes from class 6 onward to qualifying degree (Xerox and original Copies are required).

Documents You will Require if you Belong to CAP/PH/NCC/Minority/Sports Category

  • NCC & Sports - Certificates issued by competent authorities
  • CAP-certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer - Identity card and Discharge book (in case of Ex-Servicemen) and Service Certificate (in case of in-service men) issued by the Competent Authority for verification.
  • Intermediate Certificate
  • Anglo-Indian - Certificate issued by Tahsildar of their place of residence
  • PH-certificate issued by the District Medical Board. Candidates with 40% and above disability are considered eligible
  • Minorities - SSC TC containing Minority Status or Certificate from the headmaster

Step 3: Registration- The next stage after document verification is registration.. You can register using your registration number, hall ticket number, rank card, and DOB at tgeapcet.nic.in.

Step 4: Web Options Entry- You have to log in to your candidate portal to exercise web options. In this phase, you will have to fill your choices of colleges in order of preference. The following steps will help candidates in exercising the web options

Step 5: Seat Allotment- The authority allot the seats based on the candidates marks in the exam and choices filled.

To check the seat allotment result, you will have to visit the official website. Clicking on the ‘College-wise Allotment Details’ link you can see the steam wise result.

Step 6: Reporting to Allotted Institute- This is the final phase of counselling. In this phase, you will have to report to your allotted institute with a provisional seat allotment letter and important documents. You must note that you should report to your allotted institute within specified time and dates, else your admission to the institute will be cancelled.

Who is Eligible?

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission through TS EAMCET counselling are as follows:

  • Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen. Non-Indian candidates must possess a PIO or OCI card. You should belong either to Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
  • Age Limit: As of December 31, 2024, Your age must be 17. For UR candidates, the upper age limit is 22 and for SC and ST candidates it is 25 years.
  • Passing Marks: You must pass class 10+2 with at least 45% marks(40% for SC/ST) or equivalent in PCM or PCB Stream.

The freezing of web options for TS EAMCET BiPC Counseling 2023 has been closed on September 7, 2023. There are no options to freeze web options now since the deadline has been passed.

Admission through management quota is offered at private institutes. The criteria and fees for admission through management quota differ from one institute to another. You must contact the institute you are interested to get admission directly.
