How to Check NIFT Result 2024?

NIFT result mentions subject-wise scores obtained by candidates in CAT and GAT. Candidates can check their results by following the steps mentioned below.

1. Go to the official website of NIFT, i.e. nift.ac.in.
2. Click on “NIFT 2024 Results”.
3. The following screen appears after clicking on NIFT 2024 Result Link 
4. Enter NIFT Roll number, Date of Birth, and Application number.
5. Click on the Proceed/log in button.
6. The result will be displayed on your screen, verify all the details present in it.
7. Take the printout for future purposes.

NIFT 2024 Details Present on Scorecard

NIFT 2024 Scorecard is one of the most important documents for NIFT aspirants. They will be asked to produce NIFT Admit Card 2024 and NIFT Scorecard at the time of counseling. NIFT Scorecard will comprise the following information:

• Name of the candidate
• Roll Number
• Application Number
• Date of Birth
• Photograph of the candidate
• Subject-wise scores obtained in CAT and GAT
• The score obtained in Situation Test
• Total Marks scored
• Rank (if qualified)

NIFT 2024 Section-Wise Weightage in Result

The weightage assigned to each test in the final merit list of the entrance examination will be as under:

NIFT Tie Breaker Policy

NIFT Tie Breaker Policy is used whether two candidates have the same marks, then the merit rank will be determined in the following way:

• The mark obtained by the candidate with higher weightage will be considered the tie-breaker. For example, for the B.Des program, marks obtained in the CAT exam will be compared to break the tie.
• If the mark obtained in CAT is equal then the mark obtained in GAT will be considered.
• If the tie-breaker remains undecided, then the mark obtained subject-wise following order: Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical Ability and General Knowledge and Current Affairs. 

What After NIFT Result 2024?

• After taking into consideration the scores, the final NIFT 2024 result and merit list will be prepared.
• NIFT Result is expected to publish on the 3^rd week of April 2024.
• Admissions across NIFTs will be done based on scores obtained by the test-takers in CAT, GAT, group discussion, situation test, and personal interview rounds.
• The cutoff will be declared by the National Institute of Fashion Technology which is the section and campus-wise closing rank.
• It will depend on various factors such as the total number of candidates appearing in NIFT 2024 total candidates who cleared it, the difficulty level of question paper, total seats for B. Design, and B. F. Tech programs.
• National Institute of Fashion Technology's entrance examination will offer as many as 2010 seats of B. Design and 360 seats of B.F.Tech program across 16 NIFT Campuses that are located in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kannur, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru, Raebareli, Shillong, Patna, Kangra, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Srinagar, Chennai and Bhopal.
