NIFT Application Form 2024 is only accepted online. One candidate can submit only one form at a time. At the same time, candidates must have a scanned photograph and scanned signature of themselves.
NIFT Age Limit for the Bachelor Program is the maximum age should be less than 24 years as of 1st August of the year of admission. For Master’s Programmes (M.Des, M.F.M and M.F.Tech) and Ph.D, there is No age limit. Check NIFT Eligibility

NIFT Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to satisfy NIFT 2024 Eligibility Criteria as mentioned below.
For UG Course
- Candidates should have qualified Class 12th exam from a recognized State or Central Education Board.
- Those with a diploma/degree certificate from any institute recognized by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education can also apply for NIFT 2024.
- The maximum age limit defined for NIFT 2024 is 24 years as of August 01, 2023, for General Category.
- Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/PHP applicants.
For PG Course
- There is no upper age limit constrain for Master’s degree program (M Des, M.FTech, MFM).
- For admission into M.Des & M.F.M programs, applicants must have obtained a UG degree from any institution/ university recognized by the Government of India.
- For admission into the M.Tech program, applicants should have passed B.F.Tech from NIFT or B.E./B.Tech from any institution/ university recognized by the law of Government of India.
How to fill NIFT Application Form 2024?
NIFT Application form 2024 will only be available online. Candidates will have to visit the official site, www.nift.ac.in to fill the application form. Application Form must not be sent via post as it will not be accepted through offline mode. Perform the steps mentioned below to complete NIFT 2024 Registration:
Step 1: NIFT 2024 Online Registration (Creat Log-In)
- Visit the official website of NIFT, i.e. www.nift.ac.in.
- Fill in the details like candidates name, DOB, reserved category details, valid email- id, select the program from the drop-down.
- Candidates email id and Date of Birth will be used for login for NIFT 2024.
Step 2: Filling NIFT Application Form 2024
- Login with the details of email id and DOB to fill up NIFT Application Form 2024.
- Enter the details of the verification code and click on “Submit” button.
- Enter other relevant details like examination center preference, parent’s details, gender, nationality, academic details, address and contact information.
- After filling all the details click on the declaration “I agree” by clicking on the checkbox coming next to the statement.
- Click on “save” button after verifying the information.
Step 3: Uploading the scanned Documents, Photograph and Signature
- Candidates need to upload the below mentioned documents in prescribed format.

Step 4: Payment of application fee
The application fee can be paid in the online mode or via bank draft issued in favour of “NIFT HO” payable at New Delhi.
- Payment of application fee through bank draft:
Candidates must get a bank draft prepared for payment of application fee. The details on the draft related to the candidate’s name, signature, date and amount must be checked properly. The completely filled application form copy must be sent along with DD at the following address:

- Payment of application fee through Credit/ Debit Card:
The candidate must provide the details of their account number along with the PIN to pay the application fee through a secure payment gateway. The same will not be stored and students would be able to pay the application fee. Do not press the back or refresh button while the application fee is paid.

Step 5: Take a printout of the application form
Once the application form has been completely filled, you can take a copy of the application form and keep it safely for future use. Students who are paying the application fee by DD need to send a copy of application form with the DD.
Pre-Requisites for Filling NIFT Application Form 2024
- Valid email ID.
- Personal details and Education qualification details.
- Caste/ Tribe/ Class certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
- PwD certificate for a person suffering from a Physical disability.
- Scanned images of photograph and signature in JPEG/JPG format.
- Demand draft in case you are paying application fee through DD.
- Credit/debit card in case of payment of application fee in online mode.

Original Documents will be verified at the Campus when the candidate reports for the allotted regular program.
- Self-attested certificates of the qualifying exam.
- In case of the candidate appearing in the qualifying exam must produce documents as proof.
- Proof of date of birth.
- Caste certificate if applicable.
- Medical fitness certificate.
- Self-declaration certificate seeking provisional admission if only in case, the result of qualifying examination is yet to be declared.
NIFT 2024 Application Form Correction
Applicants will be allowed to review and correct their personal information in the application from. Candidates can edit their NIFT Application Form in online mode only at the official website by logging in with their application form number, email ID,date of birth and verification code.
- Application fee will not be refunded in case the applicant is found not eligible for admissions to NIFT after editing/updating the application form.
- Candidates cannot change the examination city.
