You can download your results from the official website https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/ using your login credentials. The result contains your name, marks in individual subjects, overall scores, admit card number and rank.

How do I check the BCECE 2024 result?

To check your result you need to visit the website i.e. https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/. You can check the step by step result downloading process in the video presented below.

How many marks do I need to secure to qualify the BCECE exam?

The qualifying marks are different for different categories. If you are a general category student then you must secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying exam. For OBC/SC/ST candidates the qualifying mark is 40%. If you belong to the general - PH category then you have to secure 45% and for the reserved- PH category it is 40% marks.

What are the factors that can affect the BCECE cutoff 2024?

Many factors can affect the exam cutoff. It can depend on the number of seats available in the participating colleges. The number of students appearing for the exam and the difficulty level of the exam can affect the exam cutoff. It can also depend on the number of students qualifying for the exam and the previous years’ cutoffs.

Are BCECE results and rank cards the same?

The result and rank card are not the same. The rank card will be available after the results are out. The exam authority will provide rank cards separately to PCB and PCM groups.


How do I know my rank?

You need to enter your roll number and DOB to check your rank by logging in to the official website. The rank will be published along with the merit list. You need to bring your rank card on the day of counselling for the document verification process.


If I attempt 250 questions out of 300 then can it be considered a good attempt?

The total number of questions is 300 (for PCB and PCM groups) and based on the category (PCM, PCB, CBA, MCA, MBA, and PCMB) the total marks will range between 1200-1600. Correcting 250 questions out of 300 is considered a good attempt. Subject-wise good attempts are presented below for your reference.

BCECE Good Score

What is a good score for PCB and PCM students in the BCECE 2024 exam?

If you get 1000 out of 1200 then it will be considered an excellent score. If you get 600+ then it will be considered a good score in the exam. Beow 450 score is considered average and below 300 is considered a bad score in this exam.


What are the steps taken by the authority when a tie situation arises?

Sometimes two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam. In that case, the authority follows some tie-breaking guidelines to solve the problem. The tie-breaking guidelines are given below for your reference.

  • The one with the higher score in Mathematics will be allotted a higher rank.
  • If candidates have scored the same marks in Mathematics, then the one with a higher Physics score will be ranked above.
  • If candidates have secured the same scores in Physics, then the older candidate will be given preference.

What will be the expected cut-off rank for both PCB and PCM?

What next after the BCECE 2024 results are out?

Once the result is out, you need to participate in the BCECE counselling to get admission to your desired courses and colleges. You need to fill in your choice within a specified time and take a printout of the option form for the time of counselling. You need to verify your documents from the authority and after the seat allotment you need to report to the allotted college with the required documents and admission fees.
