UP BDS Admission Process 2024

In UP, the admission process for BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) programs typically follows a set pattern. The general process is mentioned below.

• NEET UG Exam: Candidates must take the NTA-organized National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG) to be considered for BDS admission to UP.

UP BDS Admission Fee 2024

The UP BDS admission application fee, which is non-refundable, must be paid online. The application fee for each category is INR 2,000. Without the payment of the application fee, the application form will not be successfully submitted.

• Registration: Candidates must first register for counselling on the DGME&T's official website after qualifying in the NEET-UG test if they intend to apply for BDS admissions in UP.

• Document Verification: Candidates must attend document verification sessions at the locations as listed by DGME&T. Candidates must present their original documents for verification like identification proof, 10+2 grade transcripts, NEET scorecards, and other pertinent certificates.
• Seat Allotment: The DGME&T performs several rounds of seat allotment using the merit list. According to candidates' rankings, preferences, and the seats that are available in various colleges, seats are assigned at BDS colleges. The DGME&T website also publishes the seat allocation results.
• Fees Payment: Candidates whose seats have been confirmed must confirm them by paying the required course fees to the appropriate college within the stipulated time limit.
