The tution fee varies based on the course, for my course, it is 22000 yearly (for two semesters) A scholarship is provided by Reliance Foundation that ranges from 3 to 4 lakh. the college also takes interview and refund fees of students such as 25%(generally for 1st-year students),50%(generally for 2nd-year students, )and even 100% (generally for 3rd-year students). Along with it, many scholarship-giving platforms can be accessed by Students. One has to be very active regarding their scholarship. I don't have taken any campus employment but have seen others performing it. Along with it college also gives internship opportunities for students within campus. To avail of this students must be aware of IT.

Campus Life:

The fest is held annually. our college Library is the best among the other colleges of DU. Our librarian has also received an award for it. I think all journals and magazines are provided within our library, also desktop facilities are provided. It is fully digital and accessible to students. classrooms are digital along with AC in every classroom khelo Hansraj, an annual sports month is organized within our college. where girls are necessary to participate in each team with a proportion of 7:4 (for cricket). This makes everyone participate and enjoy games. ABVP is very active in our college which listens and helps students in any matter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is ba hons philosophy and I have a background in philosophy since my school days therefore I choose philosophy hons as a course. The hansraj College comes under the curriculum of delhi university and the syllabus of delhi university is really a good track for making reach to global destiny. Du covers the approch of critical thinking and anyalysing skills in philosophy courses.! You will able to know about the ethical theories and it's implications in practical world.! Faculty is quite less interested in special treatment but the course teach you to be a rational human being.! The area of improvement in my thought is to engage students in dialectical philosophical debates and make familliar with the global technology and how it is related to philosophy.! Also teach students more about the implementation of humanism in this technical world.. The exam is not much hard you can cover the semester syllabus in one month. The gap between the semester examination is about 4 month

Campus Life:

One of the great essence of delhi university colleges lies in the annual fest session. Hansraj College organise it's annual fest every year and in this fest lots of special events related to competition and musical nights were organised.! Hansraj College has different societies related to debating, dance,music, literature, and they all organised the event's frequently In a year. All the rares books and journals are easily available in hansraj College.; the books is of all the disciplines of knowledge.! There are also digital systems in library to read and learn. all the classroom of hansraj College is fully equipped with AC and digital tools for teaching . • For sports there is badminton hall and large ground for outdoor sports also.; the sport block is open to student for playing all the types of games. There are lots of students run society like nss and ncc. they were engaged in social services and the betterment of people.;

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because of my interest for philosophical thinking and socratic dialogue. I believe anyone with decent beral intellect would do good at this job. The areas for improvement i feel are when they teach us completely unrelated subjects to my course like aec vac sec I feel there should be more choice and there should be options to choose from related subjects.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure varies from course to course for most BA courses it is around 28-35 thousand rupees and if you stay in the hostle there is an additonal fee of around one lakh. Other than that no major investments to be made. Books will also not cost you much. There are financial aids and shcolarships available which will be listed on the website.

There are various events and fests , talks and counseling sessions , tours etc that enrich the social aspect of campus experience.

The college provides timely and in depth information about all sorts of concessions and scholarships available to the students through noticeboards and official groups as well as websites , there are assigned staff to each department that assist students for the same. Otherwise too , the fee is nominal and the facilities are exceptional. DRC is a great choice for your academic journey .

Hansraj is among the costliest colleges of delhi university yet the fees here is just 24000 per annum which is nothing compared to what you have to pay in NLUs or IITs or the private colleges which can even force you to sell your land In just rupees 75000 you'll complete your graduation from among the most reputed college of not only DU but of whole India. There are many scholarships offered by The GOI but they are unfortunately not for everyone..Please do a thorough research before applying for any scholarship. Faculty:

Well at hansraj all faculties are 2 decades experienced. Most of them have passed out from du's top colleges . And not just teaching experience many of them have corporate work experience too.interacting them at will is what makes our faculty different from rest of the others.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees is cheap in context with the kind of education our college provides . Total cost of my education is around 75 thousands and fees don't increase easily in du . Also it provided scholarship for ews students i.e. economically weaker section and they get 100% fees waiver

As I was a student in humanities, I thought to try something new for a change and this instigated me to choose philosophy is really a good subject. one who applies it in real life knows the world. I think all the youth should study philosophy. it is really interesting The teaching method and the department are good in our college but as we know professors' work is to profess not to teach you line by line, so students need to work hard and the department should be more active in calculating the level of the students. students get enough time to prepare for exams. All you need is to analyse the pyq

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

students have to pay 21000 for philosophy. Fees vary from course to course and subject to subject. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose philosophy because I was interested in the course before hand same is not the case for other students because most of them took the course as a ticket into Hindu College at lower marks. The faculty of philosophy department is overall very average, I believe I would have had better teachers if I had went to and other college like hansraj, because I hear the praises of the faculty of philosophy of there. The teaching methods are very old fashioned and simple faculty don't put any extra effort to help students and not only that but if the students go for help to the faculty it is very unhelpful, I am in first year so not many professors have thaught me but out of the 4 that have thaught me I liked only one, the only one that proves the prestige of Hindu College to be true.

Campus Life:

The social life at Hindu College is the best because the exposure you get here is awesome as some of the best minds of India come into Hindu College. And because of the events and seminars and other things like that, that keeps happening from time to time you get a lot of exposure. The clubs or as we say society of college are pretty average because from my perspective there just very focused on organizing events and all that rather than doing actual work the infrastructure is pretty average from my perspective because there are not of things that are not available in college like boys common room which are available in other colleges. So infrastructure is decent only from my perspective but does not fulfill the benchmark which expect from one of the top colleges in India

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned earlier I'm pursuing philosophy right now from Hindu college. So during preference filling in order to maximise chances of admission it is advised to increase your courses in preference. I've heard about philosophy honours course so made bit research about it like its syllabus, course structure and filled it in preference. For first 2-3 months this subject was going above my head but slowly I have started loving it and now I feel blessed that I am pursuing such an amazing subject. In my class there are around 60 students and there are three teachers who give their best to make us understand. Semester exams are being conducted after almost 4 months and I don't think it's really difficult to get passed in them unless you are going to give the exam without even opening the book.

Campus Life:

Campus life actually depends on the kind of person you are . Like if you love exploring it will offer you immense opportunities. Every college conduct it's annual fest. The fest of Hindu college is mecca conducted around march and there are lot of other fests like Diwali mela etc . I think only academics related books are available in library. Classrooms are well maintained no doubt ( which are new built) . There is big ground, basket ball court, volleyball court and gym as well. A website named du_club is managed by students.

Placement Experience:

Our college takes placements seriously, and it's buzzing with opportunities. There's this active WhatsApp group where the management regularly sends out internship and placement offers.
