Magic Of LSR

My 1st preference was HISTORY honours. In LSR and I was able to get into my desired course and college due to my good cuet marks, which were 788/800 inthe general category. i only applied to du and lsr was my 1st preference from the starting for a few reasons- I have always heard great reviews about the college form some school seniors and teachers aswell as online, and my father initially introduce my to lsr back in middle school and I personally liked its environment compared to other du colleges and it was a girls college which for me was more comfortable as I have been in a girls school all my school life. as I mentioned I applied only for DU especially lsr and I got admitted to it, making it my top choice and the reason why I have explained in detail above. I didn't apply to other colleges, therefore no rejections. so for admission in lsr one needs to give the CUET entrance exam after they clear their 12th exams. the current criteria for ba hons history in du is 3 papers one given in their boards + 1 language exam. after the exam one needs to fill in their preference list on the csas portal and rank all the courses they want to be eligible for from the courses which is provided to the student on there portal.then based on you marks you get allotted one of the preferences and you can challenge for updates in the further lists....Read More

I chose lsr because it's known for its strong philosophy department and has a really good academic and student culture. I had also applied to other du colleges like miranda house, hindu, and gargi. while some of them had good departments too, lsr stood out for its overall vibe, exposure, and the kind of opportunities available through societies and events....Read More

This is a laughing stock question for anybody who is in LSR. SRCC was also an option and I was getting that too but my parents wanted me to study in a girls college. So SRCC was my choice anr LSR was my parents choice. Admissions for both is same that is one has to clear CUET with a minimum of 98 percentile....Read More

Sociology means rare and LSR means you are among rare students who get to study there. Hence when you yourself are rare and getting a rare college why would you even consider any other option. However, one should be aware that for general category a minimum percentile of 98 in CUET is mandatory as otherwise one will never get admission here....Read More

For Psychology at DU, LSR is the best and with 98.2 percentile, I easily secured admissions at LSR. Earlier the cut-off was based on 12th results but now it's boil down to CUET score and without clearing that cut-off no one can get admission in LSR or any college of DU....Read More
