Daulat Ram College is a women’s college which is a constituent college of Delhi University. It was founded in 1960 and is situated at the heart of North Campus. DRC is accredited by the NAAC with a grade ‘A’ and is ranked 28th among all colleges of India by the NIRF 2023. As per India Today Ranking 2023, It also ranks 15th and 9th in Arts and Science category. The college offers UG and PG courses in the departments of Arts, Science, and Commerce. Daulat Ram College admission to both UG and PG courses is based on scores obtained in the CUET examination. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment. Registration for admission to the college starts after CUET result declarations. We can get admission into drc by giving Common University Entrance Test. By giving application into csas portal and the Daulat ram college university of Delhi cutoff is above 650,i like the cuet process to get admission into college

My admission process was merit based. The cut off depended on the percentage of marks scored in class 12. I only had to fill one application form in the beginning and then wait for the cut off lists. The application form was digitally available on the Delhi University website.

- The class schedules are horrible. At times there are classes with a gap ranging from 2 to 4 hours which takes up the entire day for a 2 hour lecture.

The process of admission is entirely undertaken by Delhi University, hence all colleges of DU have the same application process, which requires one to fill out the CUET application through cuet.samarth.ac, and based on your score you are allocated a college from your preference list. My score in CUET was 750/800, unreserved ( with a combination of English, Business studies, Economics and Accountancy ). The eligibility criteria for BCOM HONS is Eng+ acc/math + 2 domains. The examination was moderate, as there was the process of normalisation in my academic session, my score went from 752 to 750. Although, this concept has been removed since 2024.

The cut off for bcom hons was 745+ in DRC out of 800. The same cuet process was followed. Csas portal filled and then waited for the list. Apart from that i availed Eca Benefit as I am a classical dancer. The exam level was moderate and the results usually take a month to come out.

The admission are through cuet exams now , application form are guven out by nta . After the exams cuet samarth portal is opened for us to choose college and course . Reserved candidates get approx relaxation of 50 marks from other candidates

I take admission through the CUET examination. Cut-off for general students is 750, OBC 670 and for St, Sc it is very low. I took admission in 2022 which is the Covid era and the admission was very late. For B.Com hons, Accountancy/ Mathematics and English is mandatory.

Before NEP Du provides admission on the basis of merit in 12 th class but after NEP students have to clear entrance exam for admission in their desirable course and college. For general category the cutoff are very high .But for some reserved category they vary it is easy to get admission

- The infrastructure could be improved, there is construction happening and I hope the new academic block turns out good.
- The canteen food is not so much to my liking, it'll be really nice if they improve and also lower their prices.

I found all that very easy, not such a hassle for me. Just what one needed was clear understanding of all those things and proper research and one was good to go. The eligibility criteria is great for most of the courses what they asked was Eng and other core subjects studied in class 12th.

- Annual fest is amazing but departmental fest could improve a little bit.

Yes, entrance exam us there to get admission in DRC. You have score above 95% and then there are chances to get admission. The cut off varies on reservation based again. But minimum marks should be 80%+. After getting those marks, you can book your sit in Daulat Ram College. For general category there should be ease in cut offs. And again you have to prepare for exams as they are not that much tough but you have to study.
