- Poor placement records with very low salaries offered. Professor encourage to enter the industry with lower salaries which is very disappointing given the high fees that a student pays and the kind of hard work which is required to pursue the course

- Generally, for undergraduate course the fees is very high as of a government college. But tbh, NIFT do justice to it. There might be less opportunities as of a fresher in industry, that's why the salary package is low. But nift teaches you a lot.
- It prepares you for the outer world and if you have enough passion, you will end up in the most dignified places. The learning outcome is great here.
Dislikes
- There is not much that i have disliked here. Basic hostel problems and mess food sometimes are not eatable. Which is common everywhere
- Our junior director and director sir are great and very supportive of student council which represents us. Sometimes, are demands may go unheard but they specially specify reasons for same.
Internships Opportunities:
For bftech, you will have to complete your internship as a part of curriculum from your 2nd year onwards. You will have to search for the best industry and apply for it yourself. In case, you don't get anywhere, faculties help you to get one somewhere, not the best probably.

- Campus Placement opportunity is not good .
Internships Opportunities:
Faculty shares with us a list of companies name with design opening internship but that is not enough, students also have to look into it themself for new internship opportunities. The internship role is design-related and it is usually in some Export houses, fashion boutiques, or fashion brands.
Likes
- Faculty, infrastructure, campus life. And the course.
- Greenery and Peacocks you get to see in the campus.
Dislikes
- Presence of the dogs in the campus, roaming around.
Internships Opportunities:
Companies that come for placement are more compared to internship. During internship one need to search for themselves as well, not being completely dependent on the faculties. And the stipend structure depends on company to company. Sone may not offer you anything as well.
Placement Experience:
Aditya Birla, Reliance, more hypersmart, D Mart, V Mart, Vishal Mega Mart, Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, H&M, Westside. The highest package for the last year was 18 lakh per annum offered by puma. 100% of students get the placement from the campus. I will be working as a buyer in any recognized organization and after gaining knowledge I will be opening my retail store.
Internships Opportunities:
This I don't have much idea about but I am pretty sure that you'll get placements because this is a government college. And most of the internship programs first come to our college so we get the contacts first.
Internships Opportunities:
Internship opportunities are available at mostly all the companies that approve our internship requests. It was hard to find an internship during the pandemic but still, we managed. There is a textile internship after the end of 2nd year and an apparel internship at the end of 3rd year. One can join as an internship trainee at the companies. There is also a GP Group project in the 4th year for 6 months approx. The internship experiences are quite good and there is a lot of exposure during this time. The college supports a lot during the internship from getting the official request letter to official emails everything is personally assisted by the college and faculty mentors.
Placement Experience:
from 8th semester students are eligible for campuss placements.more than 60 companies visits.average packege is 450000.around 88 percent student gets placed.

Nift is said to have 99% placement at it's campus. Though we don't have different placements for each campus. We have a centralised placement in which a student can visit any campus for placements. Different brands like pantaloons, flipkart, park Avenue, raymond, Arvind mills, Levi's visit our campus.

many big fashion companiees like van heusen, louis phillipe, raymonds, allen solly visit the campus offering job opportunities to the eligible. we get on campus job offers. the alumni tries to work hard to provide thir sub ordinates a good job and work flow space with decent salary package.
