The Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research, Hyderabad (IIOR) which was formerly called Directorate of Oilseeds Research was established on 1st August 1977 with the elevation of the AICORPO (All India Coordinated Research Project on Oilseeds). Candidates, seeking admission to undergraduate programs, they have to appear in AIEEA UG: For aspirant want admission in ICAR Affiliated Colleges Undergraduate Programs. for admission in the Universities specifically located in non-Hindi speaking areas, the candidate must have passed English as a core subject in 10+2 examination. While submitting the application, the candidate must ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria in entirety. Candidate must have passed UG/PG for PhD courses.

Admission:

Admission to research programs is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the University. The candidates were shortlisted on the basis of score obtained in the entrance exam. We were then called for further counselling in the campus with all the required documents.

The candidate has to fill the online application through ICAR NTA's website. The eligibilituy criteria is Msc. in relevant field with minimum of 60% marks for general and 50% for ST and SC. The amission is based on score secured in AICE SRF PGS conducted by NTA. The final merit list is released by ICAR on basis of reservation.

For my admission in PhD., I had to appear for AICE SRF PGS which is an entrance examination for candidates aspiring to take admission in research programs. I was shortlisted on the basis of merit in entrance exam and had to appear in the campus for counselling and Personal Interview. I got enrolled in IIOR through the entrance exam conducted by the university itself. Before I filled the online application form with all my details having more than 60% in my PG. After college provides a merit list and if you are inducted in it then you have to visit campus to submit your documents.
