Course Curriculum Overview :

Syllabus for Ph.D. has been created ideally which will help students and researchers to grasp important knowledge about agriculture. Apart from this, there are various field trips to local farms and institute's farms to give students the concept of farming and seeds.

Placement Experience :

IIOR provides its students with job opportunities in various fields that help us to explore our careers. Apart from the campus placement university provides jobs in their research center to students who are capable and worthy.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

IIOR aims to provide education to students at a very minimal cost so that their learning and training can't be affected due to financial burdens. Apart from that they also provide scholarships and aids to students who deserve it.

Campus Life :

In terms of extracurricular activities, IIOR imparts a variety of amenities that students can prevail. The campus contains various laboratories, Research farms, etc where students and perform their experiments and research. Apart from that it also provides students with libraries and cafeterias to sustain their college life.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, IIOR provides students with hostel facilities. Generally, the hostel is divided among boys and girls, and strict rules and regulations are followed while staying there. Apart from that Anti Ragging protocols are also taken campus and hostel to ensure the safety of students.

Admission :

I got enrolled in IIOR through the entrance exam conducted by the university itself. Before I filled the online application form with all my details having more than 60% in my PG. After college provides a merit list and if you are inducted in it then you have to visit campus to submit your documents.

Faculty :

The faculty staff of our department is highly qualified and very ardent about their teaching. They provide great learning to students and help them in writing their research papers and thesis. Apart from that they also provide practical training to students to increase their skills.

6th semester is what I know where students become eligible for campus placements(not sure), Deloitte, TCS, etc has visited and offered good amount of jobs, highest package was 22lakh and average is like 5lakh per annum, percentage of students getting placements is 80% probably, i myself start a business or go for masters in the Germany after BTECH

Placement Experience:

Here, students can try for internships in the 3rd year. Some students who want to pursue higher education like MTech or MBA or PhD don't go for placements and internships. The placement rounds happen in the 4th year where many companies come to the campus, exams and interviews are conducted to shortlist students. For example, in my branch of civil engineering, the placement percentage last year was 50%, with the average package being around 14 lacs. Many companies come to the campus and the highest package last year was 90 lacs which was for a quant role. There are mostly companies coming for SDE and AI/ML roles. The number of companies coming for Consulting or product management roles is quite declining over the years. My plan is to try for placement in some Tech company, and work for some years then pursue a MBA.

There are placements prvided by our college. They claim to give 98 percent placements but the process is a bit hard. So there are 2 exams of aptitude conducted by college before we can even get in. So after we pass both the exams we will be trained and sent for interviews.
