Course Curriculum Overview :

The course was of 3 years which included various assignments, mostly lab work. we had to submit thesis on our research project. The schedule was quite hectic and the degree demands your time and attention.

Placement Experience :

Students mostly continue either with their research work in various labs or enter the teaching field. If you have a relevant topic of research, you could be working for the government, drug development, Food industries and so on.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee varies for different institutes. It may range from Rs.20,000 - 4 LPA. However students who cannot afford such high fees, the institute or government offers scholarships to provide assistance to candidates.

Campus Life :

The course included various case studies for which we made several visits to the industries. We also visited various farmers, agriculturists to collect knowledge regarding variety and hybrid seeds. The institute also conducted seminars and guest lectures where we could learn alot.

Admission :

Admission to research programs is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the University. The candidates were shortlisted on the basis of score obtained in the entrance exam. We were then called for further counselling in the campus with all the required documents.

Faculty :

We had faculties who spent time with students so that we could develop the desire to want to know. They helped us with all our queries. The best part was that they changed our approach to meet new situations. Mr. Ayaan Sharma being the best lecturer who were constantly searching for new ideas, approaches and methods.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th sem students are eligible for the placements. Ey, Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, godrej, zen pack, The highest package is 600000. The average package is 330000. The percentage of students getting in placements is above 70%. After finishing my degree my plan is to work in an organization.

Every teacher is well experienced, they will teach us well I will rate my teacher's work 10 out of 10, they are well experienced. Remarks:

BITS is well known for its placement and strong alumni base. The thing which attracted me was the campus life and placement records. Talking of campus life it's the best in India. Only factor one should keep in mind is more than average fees. Taking admission on 2021 will have fee around 5 lakh per year.

Placement Experience:

Placement of CS is 100% with average 18LPA and overall average stands at 14LPA. The internship program also helps people to get good offer from big companies

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placement from the beginning of final year that is fourth year / 7th sem and coaching or preparation for placement is provided by college in the 3rd year that is in the end of 5th sem to starting of 6th sem .The number of companies visit the college is around 50 and the 50% of students from final year are placed through the campus placement .The highest package is around 23 lpa and the average package is around 4 lpa.My plans after getting degree is to pursue mtech in Top IITs.
