- Got nice friends so I couldn't attend the college,if no the college would be changed for sure
- Music can be played in the class while we are working
Dislikes
- Bad quality of infrastructure including campus amenities and learning facilities
- No engagement with the college and no quality of social interaction
Campus Life:
No much festivals are held only onam ,christmas, fresher day ,and this time arts day was not conducted. There is a small library at our campus. The facilities available are limited and technologies are not working properly the computer labs the sewing machines. No sports or extracurricular activities are held at the campus. Nothing like student run social groups, clubs ,or student portals, including impact on student life.

- They provide the best fashion related courses and the best labs
- The proper equipment’s and top end mechanical support they give
Dislikes
- We didn’t like the one thing that boys there is no hostel
- And the car and bike parking for the students are not there inside the campus it’s outside
Campus Life:
It is good lot of festivals will come in campus also to make us happy and also they will let us to do internships also to become more socialise and to know the actual factor of industry , and inter campus festivals like Ugam, ragam that will only here in Kannur and the experience being here is too good as a NIFT student . Every place every wher we can survive and some one will be ther we know from the new place

- I like the vast curriculum here because if this we get to study not only design and fashion but it also includes modelling, gardening, dance zumba, shoots and many more.
- These college will bring out the most out of u in terms of social interactions because u have to interact with a lot of people on a daily basis especially with seniors because these seniors will ultimately help u get internship.
Dislikes
- I don't like the students over here because of tge superiority complex.
- There is a language barrier as most of the students here are either malyali or marathi. The mallu people rarely speak English so it's difficult to have a conversation with them.
Campus Life:
It is a national college right so it's a blend if culture over here. We celebrate holi diwali ganesh chaturthi onam especially and every other festival i guess. In that way our college is very culturally rich. We have a resource centre here where u can get all sorts of fashion related books like fashion forecasting books also which only available in our college. We have mac labs sewing labs and many more. We have two annual fest called spectrum and converge. In spectrum its intra college in which department fight with each other in sports fashion show and many more. And in converge it's inter college. We have wave community which is basically of selected people those who are like really really good for dance drama and all. Other than that we have ess club cultural club literary club etc.

- College infrastructure the ambiance and the locality
- The faculties are very expert and they have very industry experience and connections
Dislikes
- The hostel food quality should improve and facilities too
Campus Life:
The annual fest mainly conducted in January is a departmental competition which includes fashion shows design exhibitions art installations cultural performances music concerts sports events and workshops. books mainly cover fashion design textile technology fashion management history of fashion pattern making garment construction journal collections are academic research industry trends fashion forecasting textile science marketing strategy also a digital resource is available classroom has comfortable seating arrangements screens projectors sound systems and white and blackboards lighting and proper ventilation and storage basketball tennis court table tennis pool etc are available you can learn zumba theyyam kalaripayattu chenda french etc for extracurricular activities there is the Instagram page of the campus where all the information and events will be uploaded there are various clubs like sports cultural and literary which can choose by our wish
Hostel Facilities:
Hostel facility is available. There is a boys and girls hostel in the campus. menu in the mess is changed after every two days. mess food is healthy. hostel is allowed only to those who follow hotel rules. If you want to vocate the hostel then you have to give prior intimation to the warden of the hostel.

National Institute Of Fashion Technology campus provide hostel both to boys and girls in the campus. Hostel rules are very strict. Hostel alloted on the condition that the student agree to abide by all rules and regulation of the hostel. I have also opted a hostel. Food in the mess is not very tasty. Rooms have facility of table, chair, bed, almirah.
Campus Life:
The gender ratio is a bit off because we have more females than males. I would say the ratio of females to males is 8:2. Which means 80% of them are females on the campus. Sometimes i really wish there were more men in our college because it would be a nice balance
Campus Life:
In NIFT Kannur if we speak the diversity is amazing maybe there are few guys only in a collegebut it is obvious that in India many people don't go for fashion especially in guys.the competitions are literally healthy and they help us gain experience tell us about how we have to be in the team and it's very sporty.as I am in Kannur we don't have much of recreation places outside campus so every Wednesday we have a DJ night or a music night where we sing music listen to music and dance together for 1 hour.
Campus Life:
In extracurricular activities there doesn't have great scope for the students. The students can only play table tennis and volleyball. I think as it is a national institute it should have more opportunities in terms of sports and games. Besides that, the college organizes lots of workshops and seminars.
Campus Life:
The Institute provides us with various facilities for our work in fashion designing. It has also got a library with a huge book collection. NIFT also conducts many events and activities like inviting artisans, experts etc for lectures and workshops.
