one of the best design college in India

Remarks :

It was a great learning experience in terms of the course as well as living all by yourself in a city which is not home

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum was very industry specific. it was all abut design. The history of design, types of design, different genres etc. We were never spoon fed of taught anything in Srishti it was just about facilitating. You do your own research, form your own concepts based on the course selected and make a project out of it with a lot of help from the faculty. This helped in a major way to learn how to do things yourself which helped in our professional growth.

Placement Experience :

There is no placement system as such. we Dont have a formal placement day where professionals would come and employ us but at the end of the graduation there is a formal exhibition where students display their final projects which helped them graduated. Alot of professionals are invited by the college to visit during this exhibition so they can view they student works and recruit them/ set an interview up with them right there if required.

College Events :

we have many small events happening in college few of them being - 1. Talent show( where students can showcase their talents)2. grad exhibition - ( where grad students get to exhibit their work) this is a really big event and preparation for which begins 2 months before the event. students get to be a part of exhibition teams, management teams and branding teams which gives them an insight on the real world.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

the fees is expensive since its a private college -1. its aprox 2.5 lakhs per year2. this cost doesnt include stay cost and food cost which wil be another 2 if you stay in a pg or rent an apartment with friends per year3. so a total of about 4-5 lakhs

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

no I have not opted for any scholarship. The college also does not provide any scholarship programs it is something that the students must bear on their own

Campus Life :

The campus life is amazing. its mostly students coming in from outside the city so they all live in the same society. There are alot of house parties that take place. some of the faculty also is present at some of them. there is alot of diversity in terms of culture because there are students from all over the country at Srishti. Not much discrimination in terms of race, religion, gender or ethnicity is experienced at srishti.

Alumni/Alumna :

seniors are really helpful and friendly. many students live with seniors and have become best friends with them. they guide you in every way they can.

Admission :

I was always interested in getting into the field of Interior Design. learning about Srishti and its courses i was really excited since it was 1 of the best design schools in India. Admission process was a 2 step process. there was first an entrance exam that we had to give once you clear that you had to appear for an interview in front of a panel of 2/3 faculty members.

Faculty :

The College faculty is amazing. they are really skilled and learned people from the design field. Their knowledge in design is extraordinary. They are also very friendly people from the director of the college to the faculty we called them all by their names since they believed in being our facilitators and not professors. The lectures and their expertise does help alot in the long run for you to be a good professional

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to get placements from their 6th to 7th semester as whatever basic is needed by them to a company is embedded into them. Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Cisco, and many other companies visit our college and make many offers. The highest package in my course was 47 L.P.A previous year and average is 7 to 8 L.P.A. Almost all students get placed in our branch almost every year. I just wanna do a start-up after completion of my course and getting my degree.
